1. Introduction
Road transport is used in industry, agriculture, construction, trade, carries out mass passenger transportation in cities and large settlements. Road transport accounts for a significant part of cargo turnover and more than half of passenger traffic. It works closely with rail, water and air as an important part of the country's transport system.
In the modern car market, we see a huge number of models that differ in purpose, technical characteristics, price, etc., one of the reasons for this diversity is fierce competition between car manufacturers. To attract potential buyers, car manufacturers strive to offer products that best suit the needs of individual consumer groups, as well as reduce the time to develop new models, the design of which is based on the most advanced technical solutions.
Consider a category N2 car with a special platform for transporting European containers weighing up to 5,000 kg.
9. Conclusions
In this course project, we considered a car for transporting European containers weighing 5000kg, which should reach a speed of 110km/h. The total weight of the car is 10300 kg. The load on the front axle is 3500kg, on the rear axle - 6800kg, so the rear wheels have a double tire.
As a prototype from the proposed options, we chose the base of the ZIL5301 car; the YaMZ 6563.1006 engine with a power of 169kWh was chosen for it, but the actual engine power is 154 kWh due to the installation of mounted equipment.
We also chose a three-shaft gearbox, with gear ratios: 6.19; 3.9; 2.46; 1.55; 1.0.
Using a computer program, they received the traction dynamic characteristic of the car.
As a developed node, we chose the main gear with a differential locking mechanism. Considered the classification, assignment and requirements for the main transmissions. They also analyzed the design of the main gears and chose a conical gear with a differential locking mechanism. We also considered the principle of operation of this conical transmission and differential locking mechanism.
