Brief description and operating algorithms of the device
"Transformer" is a multifunctional microprocessor programmable device that simultaneously controls a significant number of technological processes with indication of control results on a four-bit display in mnemonic, text and digital forms. Installation of the appropriate modem module for wired, telephone or radio communication with the appropriate software into the device allows dispatching the operation of automation and parameters of the control object to the computer control station.
From one to several electronic modules are connected to control one process. A set of no more than three modules is structurally combined into a basic or expansion unit equipped with one receive-transmit and power module.
The automation of the device, if it includes process processes for controlling pumping equipment, due to the specifics of their operation, necessarily has generalizing algorithms linking the algorithms of individual pump process algorithms.
These are algorithms:
- provide for delay of pump equipment starting in case of short-term disconnection of power supply of the device until stable supply of power supply is established in CTP;
- not allowing simultaneous switching on or off of pumps in CTP operating in automatic mode, creating corresponding delays between the pumps actuations, at that the order of pump equipment switching on is provided by the following:
fire extinguishing pumps;
cold water pumps;
hot water circulation pumps;
heating system makeup pumps;
heating system circulation pumps;
drain pit pumps and others.
1. Introduction
This part of the explanatory note contains instructions on safety, installation and commissioning of the TRANSFORMER instrument (hereinafter referred to as the instrument) on the site.
2. Instructions on safety measures
The source of danger during installation and operation of the device and primary sensors is electric current and coolant under pressure up to 1.5 MPa at temperature up to 150 С.
According to the method of human protection against electric shock, the device belongs to class 01 as per GOST 12.2.007.075.
The device shall be securely attached.
Persons familiar with the present technical description and operating instructions, having the necessary qualifications and trained in safety regulations shall be allowed for installation, adjustment and operation of the device.
3. Placement and installation
Equipment of the facility and instrument shall be placed according to the design documentation.
Installation of equipment shall be carried out in accordance with factory installation instructions and effective SNiP.
The device is designed for mounted installation on the vertical panel of the panel.
The installation location of the device should be well lit and convenient for maintenance. The connectors located on the bottom wall shall be freely accessible for installation and maintenance.
The environment shall not contain aggressive vapors, gases and aerosols.
Electrical connections of the device with the equipment of the object are made in the form of cable communication lines or in the form of bundles. It is recommended to use junction boxes or kit clamps with screw terminals (terminal blocks ).
All signal circuits shall be laid separately from power circuits (in separate pipes or trays).
A flexible multifilamentary wire shall be soldered from the terminal blocks to the instrument connectors between 0.35 mm2 and 0.5 mm2.
All wires on terminal blocks shall be marked. On the one hand, there must be tags corresponding to the contacts of the device, on the other hand, corresponding to the equipment of the object. The resistance of the signal circuits shall not exceed 2 ohms.
The 220V voltage phase applied to the various contacts of the instrument connectors shall be the same.
Insulation resistance between individual cores and between each core and ground for external input and output circuits shall be at least 20 MOhm at test voltage of 500V.
4. Setup Instructions
In order to perform commissioning works, it is necessary to study the present technical description and operating manual of the instrument, as well as design, functional and schematic diagrams of the automation object.
Before commissioning it is necessary to check the correct and reliable connection of electrical and pipe ducts. If deviations are detected during installation inspection, they are received according to general rules developed for installation and adjustment of automation systems. If there are no deviations, then directly begin to set up automation circuits, set sensor actuation setpoints and debug instrument control and control algorithms.
Before connection of input and output connectors of the device make sure that there are no short circuits and foreign voltages at the connector contacts using the tester.
Connect the connectors to the instrument and supply the supply voltage.
Program the instrument in accordance with this specification and operating manual.
Check correct development of control and control algorithms.
5. Operation Instructions
To ensure normal operation of the device it is necessary to:
Weekly:
check the correctness of the device functioning as part of automation equipment according to local instrumentation readings.
Monthly:
when voltage is off, pull up contacts of electrical connections in terminal boxes, remove dust from the housing.
