Introduction

Ventilation plants are a set of complex equipment for creating an organized movement of air flows in the room. Ventilation equipment includes: blowing machines (fans), dust separators of various types and structures, air ducts, as well as various auxiliary equipment.

The term ventilation comes from the Latin word ventilatio, which means ventilation; this is an adjustable air exchange in the room. The tasks of ventilation are to maintain the necessary: cleanliness, temperature, humidity and mobility of air. Depending on the way air flows move, two types of ventilation are distinguished: natural and artificial (mechanical). Natural ventilation occurs as a result of gravitational forces, i.e. as a result of the difference in temperature and air pressure inside and outside the room and as a result of the wind force. Mechanical ventilation is ventilation in which the organized movement of air flows is carried out by blower machines (fans). Mechanical ventilation is divided into the following types: 1) Exhaust; 2) Plenum; 3) Tributary; 4) General exchange; 5) Local; 6) Aspiration. In grain processing plants, technological processes are usually accompanied by a large emission of dust, so the main function of ventilation here is aspiration.

Aspiration also comes from the Latin word aspiratio - inhalation; this is the suction of air from the equipment in order to create a vacuum inside the working spaces or protective casings, necessary to prevent dust release into the production rooms. Reducing dust emissions into the atmosphere due to the use of high-efficiency dust separators in aspiration plants not only protects the environment, but also saves valuable food and fodder products, of which dust consists.

Thus, ventilation plants allow:

- create the necessary hygienic prerequisites for increasing labor productivity;

- improve and improve working conditions, eliminate occupational diseases of workers;

- prevent the possibility of dust explosions and fires;

- Increase the productivity of mills, cereals and feed mills by maintaining the normal flow of the process, in particular due to an increase in sieve intensity;

- improve the sanitary and hygienic condition of enterprises as a result of preventing the possibility of condensation of moisture on the internal surfaces of machines, the development of microorganisms, as well as pests of grain and its processing products inside aspirated equipment;

- Prevent self-heating of grains, reduce humidity and prevent the development of pests, etc.
