Introduction.

In this course project, a ventilation system of a public building is designed in the form of a rural house of culture with a hall for 300 people. This building is located in the city of Kazan. The initial data for the course design are given on the second and third sheet of this explanatory note. The initial data are the geometry of the designed systems building, as well as other parameters necessary for further design.

Mechanical plenum and exhaust systems, as well as natural exhaust ventilation systems of rooms are designed in this course design. According to the requirements for this facility [2], a separate mechanical plenum ventilation system with a separate plenum chamber for the auditorium is designed. Also, for film projection and film rewinding, a branch is designed, from the mechanical plenum system P2, in a spark-proof form, for which the air ducts in these rooms are designed with a metal rectangular section, and the branch itself is connected through a spark-proof valve to prevent the spread of fire in cases of fire. Air ducts of other systems are designed from sheet steel of rectangular section.

Exhaust systems remove air from rooms by means of fans located on roof. In the auditorium, as an exhaust system, deflectors are designed in the amount of three pieces for the possibility of regulation in the winter.

The plenum chambers are made of building structures, the plan and section of the plenum chamber P-1 is shown in the graphic part of the project.
