Description
Pneumatic drive devices for drilling operations are used in processing large batches of blanks. Particularly widely, pneumatic drive is used in rock conductors, in conductors with a large number of clamping elements and in conductors for large-sized blanks. The rocky conductors have a movable conductor plate rigidly connected to the column-racks, along which the plate is raised by a rack mechanism acting from pneumatics to the required distance for installation of the workpiece to be treated, and when released, its workpiece is fixed. On the support plane of the conductor body there mounted are elements of the accessory for installation of the workpiece, and in the conductor plate - the corresponding guide bushing for the cutting tool. Compressed air is used not only for clamping blanks, but also for facilitating the rotation of movable parts of heavy conductors. When drilling holes in the flanges, overhead conductors are often used, using a pneumatic actuator to clamp the blank. Figure 147 shows a modernized drilling machine table with a device for clamping a blank and an overhead conductor plate with compressed air. Pneumatic cylinder 7 is secured on the tide of machine table 4. The cylinder rod 5 is connected to a coupling 3 having a threaded hole. Rod travel is limited by thrust bushing 1. The structure is provided with a hole for centering the device when using a pneumatic clamp, in the usual form this hole is closed by a plug 2. The pneumatic clamp is controlled by a distribution valve 6.
