Description

The tire assembly stand includes a base plate 1 with guide struts 5 and a tie ring 21, mounted in the body 2 with support fins 10 to accommodate the rim of the wheel 7. The pressure plate 3 is assembled on the pipe of the hydraulic cylinder 14 and fixed to the lid of the hydraulic cylinder 14 through the intermediate bushing 15 and the flange 16 so that the stops 4 are placed at a distance of 2-3 cm from the plane of action on the lower side ring of the wheel placed by the rim 7 on the support fins 11. On the rod of the hydraulic cylinder 14 put the upper traverse 10 with retractable stops 9. Attached to the housing 2 is a pressure plate locking mechanism 3 having two grippers 12 driven by two hydraulic cylinders 13. The hydraulic system is operated from pumping station 22. Dismantling of the tire 6 from the rim 7 is carried out as follows. The retractable stops 9 are moved inside the upper traverse 10, the hydraulic cylinder rod 14 is moved to the extreme position, and the wheel is placed on the support ribs 10 with the key base of the rim 7 up. The grippers 12 hold the pressure plate 3.

Four retractable stops 9 are placed in the position of influence on the landing ring 18, the sediment of the landing ring 18 is placed in a downward stroke until the grooves under the key ring 17 are released. Lock ring 17 is removed. The retractable stops 9 are moved to the position of impact on the side ring 18. On top of the disk, two thrust locks 20 are placed, which fasten the landing ring 18 relative to the locking base of the rim 7 at four points. 

Move the rod of the hydraulic cylinder 14 down, the action of retractable stops 9 on the side ring 19 disconnect the side of the tire from the landing ring 18. The four hinged locks 8 are then rotated in the rim lock position 7 from the upward movement. Move the retractable stops 9 having a protrusion to the landing ring 18 before entering into engagement with it, the upper traverse 10 moves upwards remove the landing ring 18 from the rim 7.

Next, the sliding stops 9 are brought closer by the diameter of the rim 7 and fixed in the rim 7 by moving the rod of the hydraulic cylinder 14 for retraction. The grippers 12 by means of two hydraulic cylinders 13 are placed in the unfastening position of the pressure plate 3 and extrusion with stops 4 of the lower side ring and the lower side of the tire from the rim 7. In this case, the hydraulic cylinder 14 together with the pressure plate 3 move upwards, and the working stroke of the stops 4 is limited by the length of the rod of the hydraulic cylinder 14. The retractable stops 9 are completely moved inside the upper traverse 10 and displace the tyre 6, the landing ring 18, the side ring 19 with a special lifting device.

Installation of the wheel is performed in reverse sequence by similar manipulations on the tire service stand.
