Introduction.

Ripper - a special road machine for preparatory work.

Tillers are used for layer-by-layer tillage of dense, frozen soils, soils penetrated by root systems, as well as for soils with large stones included in them. They break into pavements during the repair and reconstruction of roads. Rippers are usually used complete with bulldozers, staplers, loaders, excavators; when developing heavy soils, rippers increase the productivity of these machines by 3-5 times.

The main classification features for rippers are: engine power - tractor and the way the ripper moves. In terms of engine power - the tractor rippers are divided into light (up to 75 hp), medium (from 75 to 250 hp) and heavy (over 250 hp). According to the method of movement, hinged and trailed rippers are distinguished. Mounted ripper working equipment is suspended from rear axle body and tractor frame at three or four points. At the trailed ripper, working equipment is mounted on a special single-axle wheeled trolley attached to the tractor. Control of trailed loosener; teeth are immersed in soil only due to weight force of lowered parts of ripper.

Hinged rippers have advantages over trailed ones not only in maneuverability and weight (less metal-intensive), but also in the presence of a hydraulic drive that provides forced deepening with the transfer of part of the tractor weight to the teeth. Mounted ripper installed on tractor with bulldozer equipment allows for more uniform distribution of load on support rollers of tractor track.

Conclusion

In the course design, mounted equipment such as a ripper to the base tractor T-180 was developed, its main parameters were selected and traction and power calculations were carried out, and the tooth was checked for strength. The hinged type of ripper has a higher productivity than the trailed one, and by placing three teeth on the ripper frame, we also increased its productivity.

Based on these calculations, it can be concluded that the designed machine is capable of overcoming all resistance forces, will be stable in all modes of operation, the design of the ripping equipment will have a sufficient margin of safety, and the productivity of the ripper, when carrying out preparatory work, will be acceptable.
