The subject of the course project has the form of a complex engineering task, which includes kinematic and power calculations, selection of materials and their calculations for strength and durability, design and execution of design documentation, as well as specification. These requirements are met by such design objects as drives of machines and mechanisms of technological, testing and transportation equipment. Such drives include general purpose gearboxes, during the design of which it is possible to fix most topics of the DM and OK heading.

Conclusion

As a result of the course design for DM and OK, the drive and its gear ratio were calculated, the reduction gear was also calculated, and the 4A160S2UZ, GOST 1952381 electric motor with power values ​ ​ of Rdv = 15 kW was selected from the forward-exact number; and synchronous speed n = 2880 rpm -1.
