4 Technical part

4.1 General provisions

The gas pipeline is designed for the transport of associated gas from the CSN Komsomolsky field to the Gubkinsky GPP.

The gas pipeline belongs to class IV as for gas pipelines with a pressure of up to 2.5 MPa inclusive and category II according to SP 3411697 and is a gas header. Operating pressure is excess at the outlet from CSN 0.4 MPa. For the current period, gas from the Komsomolsky field CSN is supplied through the connection unit to the existing Du 800 pipeline, which transports gas from the Barsukovskoye field to the Gubkinsky GPP. The Du 800 gas pipeline runs mainly along the Noyabrsk-Gubkinsky category II highway on the right in the course of product, then crosses it and goes along the road to the gas pipeline .

4.7.1 Pipes

The selection of pipes for the designed gas pipeline DN 1000 is made on the basis of: calculation of the gas pipeline for strength and stability according to the requirements of sections 8 and 13 of SNiP 2.05.0685 * "Main pipe-wires"

Calculation of the gas pipeline for strength and stability, determination of the co-corresponding thickness of the pipe wall is made taking into account:

- requirements of SP 3411697, VSN 2.3885, SNiP 2.05.0685 *;

- technical strength of pipes meeting the requirements of the current standards;

- increased reliability of pipelines at transitions through natural, artificial obstacles and environmental protection requirements;

- values of test pressures of pipelines on the route in accordance with the requirements of SP 3411697, VSN 01188;

- the real possibility of supplying domestic pipes with the required mechanical properties and wall thicknesses.

The gas pipeline is accepted from 08GBYU steel according to TU 143P0394 "Electric welded steel pipes." This steel meets the requirement of minimum impact toughness, at a given temperature. Toughness characterizes the reliability of the material, its ability to resist brittle destruction, which is much important when operating in the northern climatic zone, also has a very good weldability (carbon equivalent

0.43) and corrosion resistance.
