The project of the 110 x 10 kV Zarechnaya substation for power supply to new microdistricts of Kurgan

Currently, the central part of the city is experiencing an acute shortage of power due to the full load of transformer capacities of the two base supply centers "Yuzhnaya" and "Vostochnaya" and the lack of capacity of the 6 kV cable network powered from them. Against the background of the constant growth of the household load of the residential sector in the city center, the shortage of transformer capacities and the lack of bandwidth pose a real threat to the reliability of power supply to responsible consumers of the city's housing and communal services, hospitals, communication centers, organizations and institutions.

Of particular importance is the fact that the Yuzhnaya and Vostochnaya substations are mutually redundant substations and the transfer of electrical loads is possible only from one to another, which in the current conditions prevents the equipment from being put into scheduled repairs, and in emergency situations can lead to the development of events according to the Moscow scenario that occurred in May last year.
