The project has been completed in accordance with the requirements of:
- NPB 882001 * "Fire fighting and alarm units. Design Codes and Regulations, "
- NPB 11003 "List of buildings, structures, premises and equipment to be protected by automatic fire extinguishing units and automatic fire alarm,"
- PUE "Electrical Installation Rules,"
- GOST R 50571.1597 " Electrical installations of buildings."
- PPB0193 "Fire safety rules in the Russian Federation."
- SniP 2.08.0289 * "Public buildings and structures";
The automatic installation of water fire extinguishing is equipped with the Shopping Center and fast food restaurant located at St. Petersburg, Petrograd Administrative District crossing Maly Ave., Rybatskaya and Izhora Streets.
The project used the equipment of the company "Sweet." Central device CP1M is installed in the control room with round-the-clock duty on the 2nd floor (o.206). Cases of switching 1ShKA, 2ShK-A, AVR, SKSB, SZSB, BUPN1, 1BSU...8BSU blocks, the RU1, RU2 level switch and the BRP uninterruptible power supply unit are installed in the pump station in the basement (room 007).
The equipment used provides:
automatic start-up of the working pump;
automatic start of standby pump in case of failure of operating pump to the mode;
local shutdown of pumps from cases of switching of 1ShKA; 2SHK-A;
local turning on of pumps from cases of switching of 1ShKA; 2SHK-A;
shutdown of automatic launch of pumps from cases of switching of 1ShKA; 2SHK-A ;
voltage monitoring at operating and standby inputs;
check of electric contact pressure gauge lines integrity;
control of pressure in the automatic pressurizer tank;
generation of command pulses for ventilation shutdown;
generation of command pulses for excalators locking;
automatic and local control of the electric gate valve for replenishment of the tank from the SHZSB switching cabinet;
automatic monitoring of the emergency level in the tank and in the drain pit;
check of the position of the valve for replenishment of the tank (open, closed);
monitoring of absence of complete opening of the valve for tank replenishment in the mode of command for its opening.
The following light and sound alarms are output to CP1M device:
- on fire occurrence;
- about pumps start-up;
- on disconnection of automatic pump start-up;
- on absence of power supply at inputs;
- failure of electrical circuits;
- on pressure drop in the vessel;
- about the emergency level in the tank and in the drain pit;
- on the position of the valve (open, closed);
- on absence of complete opening of the valve for tank replenishment in the mode of command for its opening.
The design provides for isolation of ventilation, activation of warning, blocking of excalators from the contact of the CP1M device installed in the control room. Activation of the smoke removal system during the fire is provided from the surge contacts of the BSU units installed in the pump station room.
