Additional information

Water supply

The construction design of water supply networks was carried out in accordance with TKP 452.02-138-2009 "Fire water supply," TKP 454.01-29-2006 "Water supply and sewerage networks from polymer pipes, TKP 454.01-32-2010" External water supply networks and structures. " 

At the construction site there are water supply networks F100.300mm , made of cast iron pipes, networks of F250mm domestic sewage from ceramic pipes, networks of storm sewage F300mm from ceramic pipes.

A fire hydrant is installed on the water supply network in the existing well.

The project provides for removal of existing water supply networks F100mm from the building spot.  

Designed water supply networks are made of polyethylene pipes 

Ø 110.50mm GOST 185992001 "drinking." 

A water pit is installed on the water supply network with the installation of shut-off valves to connect the existing store.

In connection with the laying of the designed water supply at a distance of less than 5 m from the designed building  , the latter consists of a case.

 

Main provisions on operation of water supply systems 

External  water supply

Monitoring and technical inspection of equipment and networks is carried out systematically once or twice a quarter.

During operation of water supply systems:

- looseness in pipelines;

- valves, water supply inputs fail.

Loopholes in polyethylene pipelines are eliminated by welding, installing a threaded plug, as well as replacing the damaged pipe section with a new one.

Valve failure is eliminated by replacement of its parts or by complete replacement.

The service life of polyethylene pipes is 50 years.

External inspection of the network is performed by one or two workarounds or locksmiths. The purpose of the inspection is to identify defects in manholes and manholes, soil subsidence along the axis of the route and at the manholes.

The frequency of inspection is once every 2 months.

Measures for operation of engineering water supply systems ensuring fire safety

External fire-fighting water supply.

1. Fire column shall be freely installed on fire hydrants. Hydrant well must be dry, cleaned of debris, its cover must open freely. Covers of fire hydrant wells shall be cleaned of dirt, ice, snow, and insulated in cold period, if necessary. When repairing and arranging the pavement, elimination of fire hydrant hatches is prohibited.

2. Entrances and approaches to fire hydrants should be constantly free.

3. At the location of fire hydrants it is necessary to install light and fluorescent indicators as per STB 13922003, on which the letter index "SG" is applied: for fire hydrants, the numerical value in meters from the indicator to the hydrant and the internal diameter of the pipeline in millimeters.

4. Fire hydrants shall be checked twice a year (spring and autumn) by maintenance personnel for operability by water start-up. The results of the inspection are drawn up by an act. The commission for testing is appointed by order of the head of the enterprise.

Environmental protection

In accordance with the "Regulations for the protection of surface waters from pollution by sewage," the project provides for the protection of the aquatic environment in the following areas:

Prior to operation the water pipeline is flushed, tested and disinfected. Hydro-pneumatic flushing is performed by supply of compressed air along the pipeline with water. Water flow rate for hydraulic testing of the water supply network is 1 m3.

Disinfection of pipelines is performed by chlorination at concentration of active chlorine 75 - 100 g/m3 with contact time of chlorine water in pipeline 5 - 6 hours.

Water flow rate for flushing with water pipeline disinfection is 10m3.

After disinfection, chlorine water is drained to a wet well with subsequent removal to places agreed by the district TsGiE.

When laying water supply networks, the following is designed:

- disassembly and restoration of the existing asphalt surface - 10 m2 (1m3/2.2t),

- dismantling of a water well f 1.5 m, h=1.8m - 1.47 m3,

- removal of cast iron pipes F100mm - 45m/0.936t.
