Introduction

The purpose of this course project is to develop the technological process of restoring the internal combustion engine connecting rod of the KAMAZ5320 car using the most progressive forms and methods of organization of automotive repair production, which will ensure an increase in quality and a reduction in costs for the CG.

The need and expediency of repairing cars are primarily due to the unequal nature of their components. It is known that it is impossible to create an equal-strength car, all parts which would wear evenly and have the same service life. Therefore, during operation, cars undergo periodic maintenance and, if necessary, ongoing repairs, which are carried out by replacing individual parts and units. This allows you to maintain cars in a technically serviceable condition.

With long-term operation, cars reach a state where their repair in ATP conditions becomes technically impossible or economically impractical. In this case, they are sent to a centralized maintenance or overhaul to a car repair enterprise.

The current repair must ensure the guaranteed operability of the car during mileage to the next scheduled repair, moreover, this mileage must be at least the mileage to the next TO-2. In case of failures, an unscheduled TR is performed, in which parts and assembly units are replaced or restored in the volume determined by the technical condition of the car.

Overhaul shall ensure serviceability of the complete life of the car or unit by restoring and replacing any assembly units and parts, including basic ones. The base part is called the part from which the product assembly begins, attaching assemblies and other parts to it. In cars, the base part is a frame, in units - a body part, for example, an engine cylinder block, a gearbox crankcase.

The main source of economic efficiency of RC cars is the use of the residual resource of their parts. About 70... 75% parts of cars entering the RC can be reused either without repair or after a slight repair impact.

Parts that are fully comprehensive and subject to replacement account for 25... 30% of all parts. These are pistons, piston rings, rolling bearings, rubber products. The number of parts, the wear of the working surfaces of which is in permissible dimensions, which allows them to be used without repair, reaches 30... 35%. The remaining parts of the car (40... 45%) can be reused only after their restoration. These include most of the most complex, metal-intensive and expensive parts of the car, in particular the cylinder block, crankshaft and camshaft, cylinder head, gearbox crankcase and rear axle. The cost of restoring these parts does not exceed 10... 50% the cost of their manufacture.

The cost of RC cars and their components usually does not exceed 60.... 70% the cost of new similar products. At the same time, metal and energy resources are saved. The high efficiency of centralized repairs has led to the development of car repair production, which has always occupied a significant place in the industrial potential of our country. The volume of centralized repairs of cars and their components has reached, and in some positions exceeded, the volume of their production.

The organization of car repair in our country has been constantly paid great attention. One of the progressive trends in the domestic repair practice was the widespread use of the aggregate method for car TR.

It is carried out by the planned replacement of inoperable units with new or previously repaired ones taken from the revolving fund. When repairing cars, the units are subjected to TR or CG depending on their technical condition. The aggregate method separates the processes of industrial repair of units from the work on their dismantling and installation in operating conditions and thereby provides a significant reduction in car downtime in repair and contributes to the centralization of work on both overhaul and ongoing repair of units.

Conclusion

In the course project, the technological process of restoring the ICE connecting rod of the KAMAZ5320 car was developed.

Calculations of processing modes were made. During the development of the technological process, progressive methods of organizing car repair production were considered.

The design part proposes the development of a fixture for repair - a universal extractor.

If it is put into production, the following results are expected:

- Improving the culture and safety of work;

- Increasing productivity;

- reduction of repair cost;

- increase of automotive repair enterprise profitability.

A technical and economic evaluation of the repair of the ICE connecting rod showed that the proposed recovery technology is much more profitable than the acquisition of a new part.

All goals and objectives of the course project have been achieved and fulfilled.
