Introduction

The importance of machines to human society is extremely great. Machines maximize labor productivity, improve the quality of manufactured products and reduce their cost. In modern industry, mechanical engineering has a leading role, since all other industries, construction and agriculture are developing on the basis of mechanical engineering. The level of production of machines, the degree of their technical perfection are the main indicators of the development of all branches of the national economy, the basis of technological progress of the state and the well-being of society.

Every machine consists of parts. A part is an article made of a material uniform in name and grade without the use of assembly operations (shaft, nut, cover, etc.). A complex of jointly working parts, united by a general purpose and in design representing a separate unit, is called an assembly unit (coupling, reduction gear box). Assembly units and parts, in turn, form complexes. Parts, assemblies and complexes form finished products to be manufactured.

When designing and manufacturing new machines, economic indicators should always be at one of the first places. The cost of the machine, determined by the cost of materials, manufacture and assembly, should be minimal. The dimensions and weight of the machine are largely determined by its kinematic scheme and the arrangement of component parts. The layout of parts and subassemblies should be such that the structural work space is used as fully as possible.

Standardization is essential for cheaper machines while improving quality. The wide introduction of interchangeable machine parts greatly facilitates the assembly of machines and allows you to use more advanced methods of mass and in-line production for their manufacture, which allows you to get a great economic effect.

Automation of the machine not only helps to increase productivity, improve the quality of work, but also minimizes the influence of the human factor.

Design Analysis

In this course design, a single-stage cylindrical helical gearbox in vertical design is designed. The input shaft is a gear shaft and transmits torque to the output shaft by means of a spur gear. The material from which the input shaft is made and the output shaft is steel 45. Since the pair of gears is spur-toothed, there will be no axial forces in the engagement, the input and output shafts are installed in the supports on the ball bearings of the radial single-row ones. In the through cover on the input shaft, which is used to fix the bearings, there is a reinforced collar that prevents the oil from flowing out. Reduction gear is made in detachable housing and has inspection hatch, in which there is hole for air plug. The perfume plug is used to equalize the pressure in the reducer during its operation. Reduction gear has oil indicator of iron type, as well as plug for lubricant drain.

In the process, the complete procedure for developing the design of the drive to the ball coal mill and related documentation is presented.

On the basis of the kinematic scheme of the drive, elements of gears, bearing and supporting elements and auxiliary parts are developed. The design features of the drive are developed with design and verification calculations of parts and units of the drive, gears (gears, couplings, bearings, etc.). Technical and economic and operational parameters of the drive are described, which will make it possible to ensure its operation most rationally under specified external conditions.

The work showed that the creation of an effective drive is possible only taking into account successive design and verification calculations, minimizing the cost of manufacturing, assembly and operation of the drive.
