Description

Column vessels are the main type of mass exchange equipment of chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and other industries. Mass transfer columns are cylindrical bodies with internal contact devices providing intensive interaction between the flow of liquid and gas entering the column. Contact devices are a variety of trays, mechanical devices. Rectification is the process of separating a mixture into components by opposing the precise interaction of vapor and liquid streams. Rectification is based on Raoul's law, according to which the partial vapor pressure of each component of ideal mixtures depends on the temperature and composition of this component and is proportional to the molar fraction of this component in the mixture. Column - a cylindrical apparatus that has a small diameter compared to height, is installed on an open area and always only vertically; has a welded structure.
