Introduction

Reconstruction of buildings and structures is a complex complex task, the implementation of which requires special knowledge obtained after studying many disciplines. The reconstruction of buildings can be divided into several stages:

- technical and economic justification of reconstruction;

- detailed examination of building structures and engineering equipment, determination of technical condition. The results of the survey provide an assessment of the physical and moral wear and tear of building structures and engineering equipment of the building and recommendations for their further use;

- determination of reserve of load capacity of building structures, calculation of structures for new loads is carried out taking into account the results of examination (defects and damages), structures requiring reinforcement or replacement are identified;

- architectural and construction drawings for redevelopment of premises are developed taking into account modern requirements and customer assignment;

- design of building structures reinforcement is being developed;

-developed work execution project during reconstruction.

Factors causing the need to strengthen structures.

The main factors causing the need for reinforcement of structures can be combined according to the following features:

- change of operating conditions - increase of load, change of operation mode caused by reconstruction, etc.;

- initial design defects; defects in design, fabrication and installation; insufficient rigidity and stability of structures or their elements; presence of bends, deflections in individual structural elements, etc.;

- operational wear - wear, loss of strength as a result of dynamic and vibration loads, action of high or low temperature, action of various chemical reagents, etc.;

- accidental damage - failure of individual elements, damage of a natural nature;

-Pertained design defects - improper operation.

In order to choose the most optimal design solution for reinforcement of structures, it is necessary to develop and analyze several options for reinforcement and compare their techno-economic efficiency and processability of reinforcement implementation.

Structural Reinforcement Design Philosophy. Classification.

Reinforcement - there is a set of measures aimed at increasing the load capacity of the structure as a whole or its individual elements. The reinforced structure shall meet modern requirements for strength, rigidity, stability and other special requirements.

Reinforcement of structures can be carried out according to two schemes:

- erection of new unloading or replacement structures which fully or partially accept additional loads;

- increase of bearing capacity of existing structures.

In turn, an increase in the load capacity of structures can be carried out:

- increasing the cross section of the structure without changing the design scheme and stress state;

- change of design diagram and stress state;

- The use of special reinforcement methods.
