Summary
In the course project, it is necessary to design the reconstruction of the highway from category III to I in the Mukhorshibir district of the Republic of Buryatia on the section of PC 63 + 00 - PC 70 + 00, taking into account the widening of the roadway and road clothing.
In the course design it is necessary to:
- design the longitudinal profile of the road;
- design transverse profiles (after 50 m) of the highway;
- perform calculation of reinforcement and, if necessary, widening of the roadway;
- Determine the amount of excavation;
- Determine the need for road construction materials.
Also in the course project it is required to develop a technology for the reconstruction of the roadway and road clothing.

Introduction
Reconstruction of the road is the process of transferring the road to a higher category, in which it is rebuilt. The road is reconstructed or rebuilt in cases where its condition no longer corresponds to the increased intensity, speed and composition of traffic.
At reconstruction of the road width and a structure of the carriageway, a road bed, artificial constructions change and also improvement of the route in the plan and a longitudinal profile is made.
During the work, it is advisable to keep the old road for local traffic, and build a new road in a new direction or next to the old one. But in many cases they seek to combine the new road with the old one. These measures are justified by the need for at least partial use of the roadway and road clothing of the old road. At the same time, traffic is transferred to bypass roads or passed along the old one with a significant decrease in speed and inconvenience for passing.
On sections of reconstructed roads, where new road clothes are arranged, the design of road clothes is carried out in accordance with ODN 218.1.0522002. In reconstructed areas where old road clothing is preserved or used, the design is carried out in accordance with the provisions of special regulatory documents on the basis of detailed data on the design of existing road clothing, the state of its structural layers and the assessment of the ability of these layers to perform their functions.
TECHNOLOGY AND ORGANIZATION OF WORKS ON RECONSTRUCTION OF ROADWAY ROADWAY
During the reconstruction of the roadbed, its widening is provided throughout the site: PC 63 + 00 - PC 70 + 00. Widening is provided both with plating of soil and with cutting. Also, new construction is provided on this site in connection with the upgrade to a higher category: from III to I.
TECHNOLOGY AND ORGANIZATION OF WORKS ON ROAD PAVEMENT RECONSTRUCTION
During the reconstruction of road clothing, it is envisaged to strengthen road clothing, as well as new construction on the section of PC 63 + 00 - PK70 + 00.
Sequence of works on road paving reconstruction
The following types of works are performed during the reconstruction of the pavement:
The expansion of existing road clothing with a gravel mixture C1 includes:
development of a longitudinal trench for widening with an excavator with an EO4321 reverse blade (ladle capacity 0.4 m3) with loading into KAMAZ-55111 dump trucks;
delivery of crushed stone mixture C1 by KAMAZ55111 dump trucks with unloading into heaps at the edge of the carriageway, the distance between heaps is: (according to the formula 5.1) L = (13/1.3 )/2.52· 0, 32· 1.3 = 9.5 m
distribution of crushed stone mixture C1 by autograder DZ98;
humidification of the crushed stone mixture C1 with a PM130 watering machine with a bottling rate of 6 l/m2;
compaction of crushed stone mixture C1 with thickness of 32 cm with vibratory self-propelled smooth-wool roller DU47B with weight of 8 t in 6 passes in one trace;
Compaction of crushed stone mixture C1 0.32 m thick with a combined self-propelled roller DU58 weighing 14t in 4 passes along one trace.
The device of the lower reinforcement layer from a gravel-gravel mixture reinforced with cement includes:
delivery of gravel and gravel mixture fortified with cement to the road by KAMAZ55111 dump trucks with loading of DS54 crushed stone distributor into the bunker;
laying of crushed stone gravel sand mixture reinforced with cement, crushed stone distributor DS54 at a speed of 50 m/h;
compaction of asphalt concrete mixture with vibration smooth-walled roller DU47B weighing 8t in 6 passes in one trace;
consolidation of asphalt concrete mix the combined skating rink of DU58 weighing 14 t for 4 passes on one trace;
The structure of a coating layer of asphalt concrete hot fine-grained mixture of type B grade I on BND grade 60/90 includes:
cleaning of the lower reinforcement layer from dust and dirt using the COM130A sweeping harvester;
treatment of the surface of the lower reinforcement layer with 70/130 SG bitumen with a filling rate of 0.7 l/m2 using a DS53A autohudronator;
delivery of asphalt concrete mixture to the road by KAMAZ 5511 dump trucks with loading of DS94 asphalt laying machine into the bunker;
laying of asphalt concrete mixture at temperature 120-160 ° C by DS94 asphalt laying device at speed 100 m/h;
compaction of asphalt concrete mixture with smoothbore roller DU47B weighing 8t in 6 passes in one trace;
consolidation of asphalt concrete mix the combined skating rink of DU58 weighing 14 t for 4 passes on one trace;
compaction of asphalt concrete mixture with smooth-walled roller DU49A weighing 18t in 8 passes in one trace.
Technology for reconstruction of roadworks
Device for widening existing road clothing with a gravel mixture C1.
A longitudinal ditch is arranged along the edge of the existing road clothing for the value of widening of the designed road clothing to a depth of 0.32 m using an excavator EO4321 with a ladle volume of 0.4 m3.
After the trench is dug and cleaned, its dimensions are checked and the crushed stone mixture C1 is filled.
Delivery of crushed stone mixture C1 is carried out by KAMAZ55111 automatic dump trucks with unloading into heaps, at a distance of 9.5 m. First, material is distributed into a roller at the edge of the coating, from which material is shifted into a trench by the automatic grader DZ98. In the trench, the material is leveled with an autograder with a margin for compaction.
Later make consolidation by means of a self-propelled gladkovaltsovy vibroskating rink of DU47B weighing 8 t for 6 passes on one trace. Further make consolidation by the self-propelled combined skating rink of DU58 weighing 14 t for 4 passes on one trace.
Arrangement of the lower layer of reinforcement of road clothing from crushed stone grass sand mixture fortified with cement.
Laying of ShGPS, fortified with cement, is carried out by crushed stone distributor DS54. In places inaccessible to crushed stone distributor, manual laying is allowed.
The working speed of the rollers when compacting the layer at the first 2-3 passes should not exceed 2-3 km/h, at the next 1215 km/h. The sealing of the next strip must be started along the longitudinal mating. The banding must be smooth and tight. DC47B vibration smoothbore roller with weight of 8t in 6 passes in one trace, combined DC58 roller with weight of 14t in 4 passes in one trace.
Arrangement of coating layer of asphalt concrete hot fine-grained mixture of type B grade I on BND grade 60/90.
Pavements from asphalt concrete mixtures should be arranged in dry weather. Hot mixtures are laid in spring and summer at ambient temperature not lower than 5 ° С, in autumn - not lower than 10 ° С.
Before mix laying (for 1 - 6 h) it is necessary to make processing of a surface of the top layer of the basis by means of the DS53A asphalt distributor a bituminous emulsion, the liquid or viscous bitumen heated to temperature of 130150 wasps with the consumption rate equal to 0,50,8l/sq.m.
Hot dense fine-grained asphalt concrete mixture of type B of grade I is laid by DS94 asphalt laying device. In places inaccessible to the asphalt laying, manual laying is allowed.
Consolidation of mixes should be begun directly after mix laying, observing at the same time temperature condition of 120160 wasps.
The working speed of the rollers when compacting the layer at the first 2-3 passes should not exceed 2-3 km/h, at the next 1215 km/h. The sealing of the next strip must be started along the longitudinal mating. The banding must be smooth and tight. DC47B vibratory smooth-hull roller with weight of 8 t in 6 passes in one trace, combined DC58 roller with weight of 14 t in 4 passes in one trace, DC49A smooth-hull roller with weight of 18 t in 8 passes in one trace.
The planning and strengthening of the shoulders must be carried out after the construction of road clothing. At the same time, all temporary entrances and exits should be eliminated, funnels should be arranged to divert surface water.
The technological process of planning and strengthening the shoulders includes: the installation of an earthen trough for crushed stone coating of the shoulders, the device of crushed stone coating of the shoulders (unloading, leveling and compaction of crushed stone).
Conclusion
In the course project, the design of the reconstruction of the highway from category III to I in the Mukhorshibir district of the Republic of Buryatia on the section of the PC 63 + 00 - PC 70 + 00 was carried out taking into account the initial data of the task.
In the course design, longitudinal and transverse profiles (after 50 m) of the highway are designed; calculation of road reinforcement and widening, as well as new road construction; determined the amount of excavation, as well as the need for road construction materials and mechanisms.
Also, the course project developed a technology for the performance of work during the reconstruction of the roadbed and road clothing. Technological schemes for the reconstruction of road clothing have been developed.
