The busbar section is designed for removal and installation of tires and wheels (replacement of tires, chambers, wheel discs, etc.), ongoing repair of chambers and wheel discs, as well as for balancing of wheels assembled. Installation and removal of wheels and tires, in-depth check of technical condition of tyres, chambers and wheel discs, repair of chambers and balancing of mounted wheels are performed directly on the tire assembly section. During long-term operation, the paint coatings of the wheel discs are destroyed, this leads to corrosion on the surface. Corrosion, in turn, reduces the probability of cracks and other defects on the surface of the disk, which increases the probability of getting out of the car wheel during operation. Small defects of wheel rims (bowing, burrs, etc.) are eliminated using a locksmith tool - mandrels, irons, hammers. To restore the paint coating during wheel repair, the tire assembly area must be equipped with special equipment for preparing the disk for painting, the paint coating itself and applying it to the surface of the wheel disk.

When preparing the surface for painting, old paint is removed with flushes SP6, AFT-1, metal brushes and scrapers. Then surface is machined to metallic gloss by grinding machine.

Special equipment (paint mixing unit) shall be used for paint preparation. In this diploma project, it is proposed to develop a paint preparation plant.

3.2.3 Preparation for use

After long-term storage, use rags wetted in kerosene to remove preservation grease from impeller, tank, electric motor.

Check cuff condition and easy rotation of impeller. Check for lubricant in bearings, add or replace if necessary (e.g. contamination or moisture). For lubrication use grease Litol24 GOST 2115087.

Only after maintenance of the plant is it allowed to install and include the installation in the electrical network of the enterprise.

3.2.4 Use of the article

People who have studied its design and principle of operation, who have mastered safe methods of work and received safety training in the scope provided for the painter are allowed to work on the plant.

If faults are detected, in any elements of the installation, operation on it must be stopped immediately. Troubleshooting shall be carried out by qualified specialists.
