Introduction
The railway track is an important object, since it provides most passenger and transport traffic. Therefore, ensuring its operability is one of the main tasks.
The work of railways is inconceivable without systematic control over the state of the track, without constant care for it and the completion of repair work on time.
The current content consists in carrying out planned preventive measures and works preventing the occurrence of malfunctions in the rail track.
To accelerate the pace and improve the quality of maintenance and repair of the track, a variety of track machines and mechanisms are used to increase productivity and facilitate the working conditions of workers
For mechanization of loading, unloading and transportation of 25 meter rails, wooden and reinforced concrete sleepers and, blocks of switches within the distance of the track on closed sections. Putremont pilots PRL3/2, PRL-4 were widely used.
In this course design, the RL4 overhaul fly is considered. The purpose of the course project is to modernize the PRL4 by ensuring its self-propulsion at the site of work.
Conclusion
In this course project, the RL4 track change fly was considered, designed for mechanization: loading, unloading and transportation of 25 meter rails, wooden and reinforced concrete sleepers and, switch blocks within the distance of the track on closed sections.
This track repair fly was modernized, the self-propulsion of this machine was ensured. To ensure the self-propulsion of PRL4 in this course design, the AD60 diesel generator unit installed on the base machine with a capacity of 60 kW was replaced with a more powerful AD200 diesel generator unit with a capacity of 200 kW.
To provide the movement drive, a traction trolley was installed for the Kran2 platform, from the cockpit side for maintenance personnel, as well as the necessary movement and brake control systems.
Traction calculation of the modernized machine, stability calculation, calculation of crane mechanisms was carried out. Measures on labor protection during operation and transportation of the machine, resource saving and basics of metrology and standardization in machine design are described.
