Introduction

In our time, road transport is very important; in terms of cargo and passenger transportation, transport occupies the first place.

The car park of our country is constantly growing every day.

Much attention is paid to the organization of passenger and cargo transportation in cities and settlements. Measures are being taken to increase the fleet of passenger and freight transport, to improve the quality of service to the population. Advanced methods of maintenance management and repair in road transport are being implemented.

With the increase in the volume of production of cars, their designs and operational properties improve. The operation of the car is greatly influenced by the units and units of the transmission, the repair of units and units is time-consuming and expensive. One of the main indicators of the units and assemblies is their durability, determined by wear in operation before failure or wear of individual parts or completely the unit. The cost of units and assemblies is about 2025% of the total cost of the car. Therefore, the issue of extending the service of units and assemblies is very significant. Increasing the service life of units and assemblies helps reduce capital costs in road transport, saving scarce and expensive materials.

Type of pavement - asphalt concrete highway in satisfactory condition.

6. Conclusions and conclusions

In the work, a car transmission was designed with the definition of traction dynamic parameters, for which tables were compiled and graphical dependencies were built. A detailed development of the gearbox design has been carried out. The development includes the design and testing for the strength of gears and shafts, the development of a layout scheme, as well as the selection of bearings for durability .

Calculations have shown that all parameters under investigation meet safety requirements and do not exceed permissible parameters. Therefore, it can be concluded that the designed transmission is suitable for further research and checks .
