Description
Hydraulic lock is a hydraulic controlled check valve used to close working cavities of hydraulic cylinders. The principle of hydraulic lock operation is as follows. Suppose that the right hydraulic lock line is connected to the working (piston) cavity of the hydraulic cylinder, and the left - to the rod cavity of the hydraulic cylinder. Then oil under pressure going into the piston cavity through the channel of connector pos. 9, move in the housing pos. 1 slide valve, pos. 5 to the left and open the LH check valve pos. 7, through which oil from rod chamber of hydraulic cylinder will exit through connector pos. 6 for drain. At the same time, the RH check valve pos. 7, and oil is supplied through it to piston chamber of hydraulic cylinder. Upon termination of fluid access to hydraulic lock the slide valve returns to neutral position and both check valves under action of springs pos. 8 and oil pressure on the side of piston and rod cavities of hydraulic cylinder are closed, fixing piston of hydraulic cylinder in specified position .
