10. Design Development
In order to expand the production capabilities of VET and to save time for maintenance and maintenance, in the design part we offer a device that will allow serving GAZEL cars on the P97M lift designed for servicing domestic cars.
In order to save time for maintenance and maintenance of GAZEL vehicles, it is advisable to use a lift. It is impossible to lift a GAZel car for service under thresholds as passenger cars, so we propose to lift cars of this type by the frame, for which we represent the following device.
The accessory for raising the GAZel car by the frame is a composite metal cylinder of variable cross section with a milled slot from one end and a thread from the other, and is shown in Figure (1). Accessory is made of St. 3 αt = 200 N/mm2; [αsg] = 157H/mm2; GOST 380-60.
The accessory is screwed into the lifting lever of the hoist. The load is distributed along the axis of the cylinder, so we will check the reliability of the device by the following methods:
Check of accessory cylinder for compression;
Check of accessory thread for crushing.
10.1 Checking the cylinder of the accessory for compression
Let us determine the largest value of the load Q that can be lifted by the hoist using the proposed device, without taking into account the strength of the hoist itself.
The crushing stress fully satisfies the condition of wear resistance of the thread by crushing stresses and has a sufficient service life.
The proposed device is simple to use, functionally and has a huge resource of work. It will expand the production capabilities of PTO and reduce the time for maintenance and TR of GAZEL cars.
