Description
Agriculture is one of the main, most important branches of the national economy of our country. Dairy cattle breeding remains the leading agricultural sector. It accounts for over 50 per cent of gross agricultural output. It produces almost the entire volume of milk consumed and almost 40% of meat, second only to poultry production in terms of profitability. The concept of the development of dairy livestock in Russia after the imposed sanctions begins to approach the level of milk production, including per capita, achieved in 1990. The basis for this is the imposed sanctions against Russian production in 2014. The prospect of the development of the industry provides for the growth of the number of cows to 18.4 mil. heads and increasing their yield to 4 thousand kg of milk. Of particular importance is the improvement of the conditions for keeping livestock determined by the construction and space-planning solutions of cows and has a direct impact on the choice of means of mechanization of the main and auxiliary technological processes of production, cow milking systems, manure harvesting, ensuring optimal sanitary and zoological conditions on farms, labor organization.
