Steel part material designation 30X GOST 14896 - 84 - structural carbon quality steel. The part is a cylindrical body with overall dimensions: diameter 40 mm and thickness 10 mm. There is a through axial hole with a diameter of 20 mm. All surfaces have roughness Ra = 6.3 μm. All sizes have a 14 quota of accuracy. Surface hardness up to 216... 259 HV.

1. Status of the question. Objectives and objectives of the work.

1.1. Analyzes a part drawing.

Part name - ring. The part is supposed to serve as a cover in any machines or devices. Steel part material designation 30X GOST 14896 - 84 - structural carbon quality steel.

The part is a cylindrical body with overall dimensions: diameter 40 mm and thickness 10 mm. There is a through axial hole with a diameter of 20 mm.

All surfaces have roughness Ra = 6.3 μm.

All sizes have a 14 quota of accuracy.

Surface hardness up to 216... 259 HV.

1.4. Purpose and objectives of the work.

The main goal is to get a high-quality part in less time and the cost of its manufacture.

To increase durability and reduce the cost of dies, stream inserts made of stamped steel are used, fixed in die blocks.

Forgings received on the MCP do not have stamping slopes on surfaces coinciding with the direction of movement of the main slider. This improves the accuracy of forging and reduces metal consumption.

3.3. Substantiation of requirements for deforming tool

The design of punches has great requirements. It should ensure reliable fixing of punches in the punch holder, economical consumption of stamped steel and the possibility of quick replacement. Such requirements are met by composite punches consisting of a holder with a tail and the punch itself. Punch holder material - steel of 45HL grade GOST 783265. NV 207... 255. Other technical requirements as per GOST 1619870.

The punch is attached to the holder using a nut, since the machine is of low power.

Matrix blocks with inserts are made of steel 45 according to GOST 702370, HRC 5660. Inserts, punches are made of 4X5V2FS steel as per GOST 702370, HRC 5458. Blocks for inserts shall have hardness HB 321444, blocks for working inserts and punches HB 368478 .

Matrices are fixed in sockets of horizontal forging machine by means of blocks with pressure bolts. In order to prevent displacement of half-matrices at the reverse movement of the central slide, there is a key slot on the lower support surface of the matrices, which includes a key connected to the backing plates of the machine.

Conclusion

Using the knowledge, main types of processing and their diagrams, the technological process of the Ring part was developed.

When selecting a workpiece, the design, dimensions, mass and material of the workpiece, accuracy and quality of the surface of the workpiece were taken into account. For this part, steel 30 GOST 14896 - 84 was selected - structural carbon quality steel, which has the best properties necessary for processing and further operation.

Using reference literature, transitions, forces, power, machine time during landing were calculated.

Equipment and accessory to it are selected by dimensions in accordance with overall dimensions of this part. The accuracy of the machines meets the technical requirements.

Course work includes: part drawing (A4 format), die and process drawing (A1 format), detailed drawings of deforming tool and other working parts of dies (A3 format and A4 format) explanatory note, 3 chapters, conclusion, list of literature.
