Introduction.
The design of buildings as an artificial environment of life should provide such a state of the environment that is perceived by humans as comfortable. Care to create a comfortable environment is evident at all stages of design. This is facilitated by the correct solution of architectural problems for the purpose of space sizes, their proportions, sizes of openings, communication with the environment, as well as a reasonable choice of structures and engineering equipment. Only with the correct solution of technical problems can the necessary level of heat, sound, waterproofing of rooms, optimal air parameters, light comfort, etc.
The physiological properties of people are reflected in the sanitary and hygienic requirements for the physical qualities of the living environment of the dwelling: temperature, humidity, air purity, natural lighting, etc. The internal environment of the dwelling is closely related to the external environment, and therefore the sanitary and hygienic requirements for dwellings are directly dependent on, and can only be established in connection with, climatic and other local conditions. The significance of these factors is different, but there is enough non-compliance with at least one of them so that the comfortable state of the environment turns into discomfort.
