Introduction

During the course project, the student must learn the methodology

calculation and design of mechanisms, instruments and parts, learn to use technical literature, directories, catalogs, ESKD materials, maps and GOST.

The student should develop the ability to perform assembly drawings of mechanisms and working drawings of parts with correct sizing, limit deviations and surface roughness in accordance with the requirements of the ECPD.

A reduction gear is a mechanism consisting of gear or worm gears, made in the form of a separate unit and serving to transfer rotation from the shaft of the engine to the shaft of the working machine.

The purpose of the reduction gear is to reduce the angular speed and increase the torque of the driven shaft compared to the driving one.

Choice of oil grade

Lubrication of gear engagement is performed by dipping the gear wheel into oil poured inside the housing to the level ensuring immersion of the wheel by about 10 mm. Volume of oil bath Vm is determined on the basis of 0.25dm3 of oil per 1kW of transmitted power: Vm = 0.2511.4112 2.853dm3.

As per Table, oil viscosity is established. At a rate of = 8.378 m/s, the recommended viscosity is v50 = 59cSt. According to Table 13.1 we accept industrial oil I50A as per GOST 20799 - 75.

Bearings are lubricated with plastic grease, which is put into bearing chambers during assembly. Lubricant grade - UT1 GOST 1957-73.

Conclusion

During the course project in the discipline "Machine Parts," the method of calculating and designing mechanisms and parts was learned, learned to use technical literature, directories, catalogs and GOST.

The ability to make assembly drawings of parts with correct sizing, marginal deviations and surface roughness in accordance with the requirements of the ECDP was developed.

We learned to develop the design of a single-stage gear reduction gear, select the required electric motor, select the appropriate bearings, oil grade, and corresponding standard products.

The gearbox assembly and disassembly rule is learned.
