Description
The pinion shaft is a part of the cylindrical reduction gear of the belt conveyor drive, which was taken from the course work in the discipline of machine parts. It is connected to the motor shaft by means of a coupling and serves to transfer motion from the motor to the conveyor drive. To connect the shaft and the half-coupling, a key connection and an H6/k6 fit are used. A shaft is a part designed to support pulleys, gears, sprockets, rollers, etc., and to transmit torque. The shape of the shafts and axes is varied and depends on the functions they perform. Sometimes, shafts are made together with other parts, for example, gears, cranks, eccentrics. Gear is installed on this shaft. In geometric form, the shaft is straight. Still shafts are krivoshipny, cranked, flexible, telescopic and cardan.
