Description

The regulator consists of a cast steel body 2 with upper and lower seats 7. Throttling is carried out by a disc plunger, which changes the opening of the upper seat when moving the rod 6 connected to the hard disks of the membrane 3. 

The movable system moves in the guide sleeve and the cylinder of the lower seat. In the initial period of operation, if the GDS is insufficiently loaded, it is allowed to equip it with a low-flow gas flow line. 

The GDS reduction unit corresponds to the design design capacity of the GDS at the minimum inlet pressure, taking into account the number of working reduction lines. 

The regulator is switched on and off in accordance with the operating instructions for this type of pressure regulator. 

To ensure the normal operation of pressure regulators, it is necessary to monitor the job pressure, the absence of extraneous noise in the regulator, as well as the absence of leaks in the connecting lines of the regulator piping. The transition to work on the backup line is carried out automatically when the deviation (± 10%) from the output working pressure established by the contract is carried out. 

To create and maintain the pressure in the over-membrane chamber of the regulators  corresponding to the output pressure, we use a two-stage gearbox - setter 5, which is powered by gas from the inlet gas pipeline. 

The process of pressure regulation proceeds as follows: a constant pressure equal to that regulated at the outlet of the regulator is created in the diaphragm chamber of the gearbox. If the pressure at the outlet of the regulator is less than the specified pressure, then the force acting on the diaphragm from above exceeds that from below. 

The unit of the sensing element connected to the membrane, moving downwards, increases the flow area of the regulator. As a result, the amount of gas flowing increases, and the pressure at the outlet of the

the regulator is restored to the specified one. If the outlet pressure exceeds the specified pressure, the sensing element, moving upwards, reduces the flow area of the regulator, thus restoring the pressure at the outlet of the regulator to the specified one.
