The vast majority of galvanic workshops, both for basic and auxiliary purposes, today experience a shortage in the atmospheric air purification systems of the working zone, as well as the discharged gas-air mixture, in many cases equipment is used that is not intended for use in woodworking or a self-assembled system, which poses an emergency risk, reduces cleaning efficiency and contributes to the wear and tear of working machines. With all the complexity of solving the presented problems, it remains obvious that at present the only possible way out of this situation is to improve the system of cleaning the spent gas-air mixture. There is a need for an inexpensive, non-complex ventilation system design. The main requirements for which are: reliability, versatility (use of standard units and structural elements), simplicity. Based on the above, we have defined the purpose and objectives of this work. The purpose is to design and calculate the main structural units of the ventilation system of the galvanic workshop of the Kommunar enterprise. Tasks: - to select and calculate the air cleaning equipment; - according to the obtained data, to select the fan and electric motor.
