Description
The main gear is: - to change the speed of the conveyor and traction forces on the driving wheels at a constant speed of the engine crankshaft and transmitted torque; - to reverse the conveyor at the same direction of rotation of the engine crankshaft; - for engine disconnection with transmission during engine warm-up and its operation at stops; - for turning the conveyor with the specified turning radius for each transmission; - for short-term increase of traction forces on driving wheels without gearshift. The main gear is double-flow, combining in one unit a gearbox and two planetary-friction turning mechanisms, each consisting of a planetary single-stage reduction gear, friction and brake. In addition, the main gear is equipped with a pump for pumping oil in the cooling circuit. Gearshift in the gearbox provides five speeds when the conveyor moves forward and one reverse speed. With the help of turning mechanisms, four slow gears can be additionally obtained in the box when moving forward (in the second, third, fourth and fifth gears) and an accelerated reverse gear. All mechanisms located in the main gear crankcase are lubricated with oil filled directly into the crankcase through a filling hole located in its upper part and closed with a sapun. Oil level is controlled through the same hole by the probe given in the spares set. Oil cooling is provided in oil radiator made in water unit with engine oil radiator. Frictionals of turning mechanisms, dry, multi-disc, permanently closed, consist of driving and driven parts and switching off mechanisms. The leading parts of the friction clamp include a drum with discs, the driven parts include a drum with a brake drum welded to it, discs, a pressure disc, fingers with springs and a push-up disc. Frictional switching-off device consists of movable cup, disconnection rings and three balls. When turning the movable cup, the friction is turned off. Turning mechanism brake belts are installed on brake drums of friction clamps. Steel brake belts with cast iron linings. Normal clearance between brake drums and tape linings 0.75-2 mm.
