The designed building, a residential two-story building, is being built in Volgograd.

The construction area belongs to the climatic zone IIIB, which has the following characteristics:

- average monthly temperature of the coldest month (January) from -5 ˚S to - 14˚ С [9];

- average monthly temperature of the hottest month (July) from + 21 ˚S to + 25 ˚S [9];

- average wind speed for 3 winter months 5 m/s or more [9];

- outside air temperature of the coldest five-day period with security of 0.92 = - 25 ˚S [9];

- duration of heating period - 177 days [11]

- design indoor temperature + 20 ˚S [11]

- room humidity mode - normal t. 1 [11];

- humidity area of construction area - dry, annex 1 [9]

Design Solutions

According to the structural solution, a building with an incomplete frame with longitudinal and transverse wooden bearing walls. The spatial stiffness is provided by the joint operation of the structural walls and the floor beams.

The foundations are made of precast concrete blocks as per GOST 1357978.

Bearing walls are made of 150x150 bar (mm), partitions from 100x150 bar (h). Covering beams 100x150 (h) mm, wooden from a bar, are located with a step of 600 mm.

Individual windows are designed from PVC with double-chamber double-glazed windows according to GOST 3067499.

Wooden single and double doors as per GOST 662988.

The floors in the corridors and living rooms are wooden, in the bathrooms, dryer and kitchen - ceramic tiles, on the terrace and balcony - wooden floors along the beams. In the garage, the floor is poured with concrete and a mosaic mortar is laid.

The roof is pitched .

Around the building there is an asphalt concrete pavement 1m wide.

5. volumetric - planning solutions

A 2-story residential building with dimensions in the axes of 11.5 m × 12.3 m has a complex configuration in plan, without a basement.

The building is two-story. The floor height is 2.7 m. The compact space planning solution allows you to obtain a large-scale volume with a clear separation of the main rooms.

On the ground floor there are main rooms: kitchen, living room, bedroom and hall, as well as bathroom with dryer and terrace. On the second floor 2 bedrooms, office hall. There is also access to the balcony from the bedroom and the second floor hall.

There's one front door in the building. Communication between floors is carried out via an internal two-march wooden staircase connecting the hall of the first floor with the hall of the second floor.

The kitchen with an area of ​ ​ 12.42 m2 allows you to arrange a dining area in addition to kitchen equipment.

The modern house is not much different from the city apartment and therefore the accepted internal layout of the manor house is based on the same principles as the modern city apartment. The location of the kitchen, common room and bathroom makes it possible to use a common exhaust system and provides a good functional relationship.

Ventilation is carried out by the supply and exhaust plant VENTO VP R400L, installed in the bathroom, kitchen and garage.

Heating of the house is carried out centrally.

Water supply and sewerage - centralized.

Self-cleaning Pilkington Activ™ glass

The self-cleaning Pilkington Activ™ glass is glass of neutral coloring with the special covering providing self-cleaning from organic pollution. The titanium oxide coating is sprayed onto the surface of the finished uncooled glass, giving it two new properties:

• The surface of the glass becomes hydrophilic - the water caught on the glass does not collect drops, but evenly wetts the surface .

• The coating provides catalytic decomposition of organic contaminants under the influence of natural ultraviolet radiation of the sun (the so-called photocatalytic process).

Due to these unique properties, the coating intensively decomposes the dirt that has fallen on it, preventing it from tightly adhering to the surface of the glass. All contaminants are easily washed away by rain, since the hydrophilicity of the coating ensures the uniform spread of rain drops. After drying, there are no floods and spots on the glass. With the Pilkington Activ™ glass you should care for purity of your windows much less - glass is purified! During the droughty period it is possible just to pour over the Pilkington Activ™ glass water from a hose. It can also be washed and wiped with a soft wet cloth, as well as ordinary window glasses. The only condition is not to use cleaning agents containing abrasives and not to scratch the glass with hard objects. The coating adheres firmly to the surface of the glass and does not lose its properties for a long time. Pilkington experts predict the life of the coating without losing cleaning properties for at least 20 years - that is, the coating will serve you almost as long as the glass itself .

The self-cleaning Pilkington Activ™ glass does not demand any special leaving. After installation, five days are sufficient to activate the self-cleaning coating under the influence of ultraviolet radiation. Moreover, the process of activating the coating proceeds even in cloudy weather, and self-cleaning of glass after activation continues at night. On appearance the Pilkington Activ™ glass is almost indistinguishable from a usual windowpane, only at slanting lighting having swept up an easy bluish outflow of a covering. The delay of light by self-cleaning glass does not exceed 7% - even a small pollution of window glasses delays light more strongly.
