Fire hazard analysis of industrial premises

2.1. Fire hazard assessment of production premises.

The following types of combustible materials are used in the manufacturing process of soft furniture:

- wood (bars);

- Polyplasts in rolls and plates (types of polyurethane foam);

various types of solvents (based on acetone and whitespirite);

- fabric material (in rolls).

The fire load in the production room is from 80 kg/m ² to

160 kg/m ².

The greatest fire hazard are polyplasts with a high smoke-forming and calorific value.

During combustion, a large number of toxic products are released (vapors of silicic acid and various types of isocyanates ).

Based on Table 4.1. (Handbook "Fire and Explosion Safety of Substances and Materials and Their Extinguishing Means" edited by A.N. Baratov and Korolchenko A.Ya., M., 1990), extinguishing of such substances can be carried out with general-purpose fire extinguishing powders (based on phosphoro-ammonium salts with various additives that prevent caking and clumping.

The feed rate shall be 1.6-1.7 kg/m ² and the powder flow rates to the combustion zone shall be between 0.28 kg/m ² and 0.44 kg/m ².

2.2. Assessment of emergency situation and determination of fire potential.

Fire hazard analysis confirmed the presence of a large amount of fire hazardous substance (polyplasts) in all areas of the production process. Ignition sources may be:

- static electricity;

- sparks of electrical equipment and wiring;

- overheating of materials during cutting;

- careless handling of open flame, etc.

The nature of the fire is as follows: rapid smoke, melting of combustible material, spread of molten mass and spread of fire over the surface of the molten mass on the protected area.

Characteristics of protected premises

The following premises of the furniture factory LLC "000000000" are subject to protection:

- workshop (S = 1220 m.q.);

- raw material storage (S = 79.3 m.q.);

- cabinet (3) (S = 7.7 m.q.);

- locker room (S = 26.6 m.q.);

- tambour (S = 9.6 m.q.);

- cabinet (11) (S = 19.5 m.q.);

-anthresol (12) (S = 289.5 m.q.);

-anthresol (13) (S = 217.1 m.q.) - (see drawings - sheet 2).

The walls of the premises are brick, the floors are reinforced concrete. The area of the premises protected by the automatic installation of powder fire extinguishing is 1870 m2. Height of protected rooms - up to 6.5 m.

Heating is central. Operating temperature limits from + 5 ° С to + 30 ° С.

Relative humidity up to 70% at 20 ° C.

Dust, smoke, vibration, aggressive media and significant electromagnetic interference are absent.

In order to increase the level of fire protection of premises and tighten possible combustion centers at the facility, manual fire extinguishing devices are used.

Principle and operating modes of the plant

The GarantR plant implements the modular principle of building a local fire extinguishing system without first taking into account the areas and directions of extinguishing. The localization of the fire center is carried out automatically, based directly on its characteristics, such as power, development speed and propagation paths. At the same time, the necessary and sufficient amount of extinguishing means will be used to suppress the fire.

The main functional link of the "GarantR" automatic control system is the "SCU" signal processing unit, which is attached and connected directly to each fire extinguishing module. Geometrical placement of WFP equipped with BOS is carried out taking into account the requirements of NPB 882001 * (including section 12 regulating the arrangement of thermal fire detectors) and technical documentation for the used modules.

Attention! To ensure the interaction of the components of the "Guarantor" unit, it is necessary that they are in the zone of stable reception of the radio signal.

The main operating modes of the plant are:

"Automatics ON" mode (standby mode);

Automatic mode is OFF (setting to mode is performed by pressing "Auto. OFF "on" UFSP "or at actuation of door opening sensor on" AEMS ") and

"Diagnostics" mode (setting to the mode is performed by pressing "TEST" button of diagnostics key).

"Automation on" mode

In the initial stage of the fire, when the temperature in the area of the WFP with "BOC" reaches 64 ± 5 ° С, the PI triggers a lower threshold value (PI64). At the same time, the BOS goes into the "Attention" state - readiness to receive signals for the start of the WFP (from neighboring modules with the BOS and/or from the UFSP) and to block the start (from the UFSP and/or from the BPRS) - turns on its own light-and-sound alarm and generates a warning "Attention," which is transmitted to all devices.

When receiving a notice "Attention":

corresponding "FDR" relay is actuated, which switches on the necessary actuators and outputs "Warning" signal to the PCP;

LED indicator on the device for generation of start signals is turned on (with the help of "UFSP" it is possible to manually start the corresponding MPS and lock the automatic start);

LED indicator on relay signal receiving unit is turned on ("ADU" is ready to receive signal about door opening sensor actuation and to issue "Automatic shutdown" notification).

The development of the fire center leads to an increase in temperature in the area of the location of neighboring modules, while their signal processing units also go into the "Attention" state.

Upon reaching the temperature in the area of the WFP with "BOC" 76 ± 5 ° С, the PI of the upper threshold value (PI76) is triggered. Moreover, which of the "BOS" located at the place of temperature increase will work first depends on many factors, such as: the paths of fire propagation in the room, the direction of air heat flows, etc. "BOS" of this module goes into the "Fire" state, turns on its own light-and-sound alarm, generates and transmits "Fire" notices in 30 sec. "Start WFP."

Upon receipt of the "Fire" notification:

corresponding "FDR" relay is actuated, which switches on the necessary actuators and outputs "Fire" signal to the PCP;

"BOC" signal processing units of other MPS located in the zone of increased temperature (in the "Warning" state) switch to "Fire" mode and in 30 seconds simultaneously activate the modules (in the absence of "Automation disconnected" notification).

Upon receipt of the "WFP Start" notification, the corresponding "FDR" relay operates.

When the FDR control relays are connected to the smoke removal system (or other engineering systems), they will be switched on (or off).

If necessary, "FDR" can broadcast all received signals to the centralized monitoring panel, annunciator, etc.

Automatic Off mode

Setting to mode is performed from "Automatic ON" mode as a result of pressing "Automatic OFF" button. (with the fixed situation) on "UFSP" or automatically at operation of the sensor of opening of doors on "BPRS" (after obtaining the notice "Attention" from "is BAREFOOT", but before its transition to a state "Fire").

Regardless of the source of the signal "Automatic is off" ("UFSP" or "FDR"), the FDR unit switches over the contacts of the relay 5 "Automatic OFF," and "FDR" will go into the "Automatic OFF" state only if the temperature exceeds the value of 76 ± 5 ° С.

To return the "Guarantor" automatic control system to standby mode:

Press "Automatic OFF" button on "UFSP";

Close the door to the room.

Diagnostics mode

Diagnostics of automatic control system is performed by means of output of test signal from "DB" as a result of pressing "TEST" button.

If the APC devices are in the "NORMAL" state, they respond with the corresponding sound and light signals.

When "RESET" button is pressed on "DB," "FDR" devices return to initial state

Equipment placement

Arrangement and installation of "GarantR" ACS units shall be carried out in accordance with the design, requirements of NPB 882001, Job Instructions and Instructions.
