General part
This design of the automatic fire alarm system has been developed in
compliance with regulatory and technical documents:
- GOST 2799088 Means of security, fire and fire alarm.
General technical requirements;
- Construction Norms and Regulations 110195 Instruction about an order of development, coordination, a statement and structure of the project documentation on construction of the enterprises, buildings and constructions.
- SNiP 210197 Fire safety of buildings and structures;
- RD 78.14593 Security and fire alarm systems and complexes.
Rules for production and acceptance of works;
- RD 78.14693 Instruction on technical supervision of project and
installation works on equipment of facilities by means of security alarm;
- NPB 882001 Fire fighting and alarm systems. Rules and Regulations

The working design of the automatic fire alarm system is developed in
in accordance with the requirements of environmental, sanitary hygiene, fire fighting
and other rules in force on the territory of the Russian Federation and providing
safe for life and health operation of the integrated system at
compliance with the measures stipulated by working documents.
List and characteristics of protected objects
All rooms shall be protected by automatic fire alarm system
buildings regardless of their functional purpose, except for premises,
related to wet processes (showers, bathrooms, cooling chambers, rooms
washes, etc.); ventilation chambers (plenum, as well as exhaust, not servicing
production facilities of category A or B), pump water supply, boiler and
other rooms for engineering equipment of the building, in which there are no combustible
materials; categories B4 and D by fire hazard; staircases.
The walls of the building are brick, the floors are reinforced concrete.
The main type of fire load in protected rooms is insulation
electrical cables, office equipment, non-combustible materials in burnt packages, furniture.
Main decisions taken in the project
Fire alarm system provides:
round-the-clock monitoring of the situation in the guarded rooms, issuing "Fire" signals when the fire alarm is triggered to the remote devices of light and sound alarm, starting the voice warning system.
To build a fire alarm and warning system for people in case of fire
instrument "Signal-20 isp. 02».
The IR system includes:
- "Signal20" instrument;
- "Scat1200" redundant power supply source;
- smoke fire detectors "IP 21285";
- manual fire detectors "IPRI";
- "Exit" light signalling annunciators;
- sound annunciators "Oriole."
PPKOP provides:
- testing of fire detectors serviceability in the loop;
- alarm when fire detectors are activated;
- uninterrupted operation of the station in case of loss of main power supply from
redundant power supply in standby mode for 24 hours and in standby mode
alarms 3 hours;
- start of warning system at fire detectors actuation;
- display of information on the front panel of PPKOP "Signal20," audio supply
signal at signal "FIRE," "SHORT CIRCUIT" and "BREAK";
- alarm output at fire detector actuation by opening
relay contacts.
Information on the status of fire alarm detectors is displayed on indicators
"Signal20" devices and external devices of light and sound signalling
External remote light and sound alarm devices are installed inside
buildings.
Based on the characteristics of the rooms equipped with automatic fire protection
alarm, type of fire load, ceiling ceilings, development features
combustion center, as well as for the purpose of early detection of fire, the project provides for
protection of premises by optical smoke fire detectors of "IP" type 212-85
To signal fire in case of its visual detection by duty personnel
maintenance personnel provide for the placement of manual firefighters
detectors of type "IPRI" on the way of evacuation of people on walls and structures.
All equipment used has a fire safety certificate.
Fire alarm
At least two firefighters shall be installed in each protected room
detectors "IP 21285." Location of point smoke detectors should be
take into account air flows in the protected room caused by
plenum or exhaust ventilation, the distance from the detector to
ventilation hole must be at least 1 m. Fire detectors "IP 212-85"
shall be installed not further than 4.5m from walls and not more than 9m between detectors in accordance with NPB 882001. Point smoke fire detectors should be
install in each compartment of the ceiling with a width of 0.75 m or more, limited by
construction structures (beams, runs, plate ribs, etc.) protruding
from the ceiling by a distance of more than 0.4 m. If building structures protrude from
ceiling by a distance of more than 0.4 m, and the compartments formed by them in width are less than 0.75 m,
the area controlled by fire detectors is reduced by 40%.
If there are protruding parts on the ceiling from 0.08 to 0.4 m, controlled by firefighters
detectors reduce the area by 25%.
If there are boxes, process platforms with width in the controlled room
0.75 m or more having a solid structure spaced from
ceiling at a distance of more than 0.4 m and not less than 1.3 m from the floor plane, under them
fire detectors shall be additionally installed.
Point smoke fire detectors shall be installed in each
a room compartment formed by stacks of materials, racks, equipment and
construction structures, the upper edges of which are 0.6 m or less from the ceiling.
When installing point smoke detectors in rooms with width less than 3
m and in other spaces less than 1.7 m high distance between detectors
it is allowed to increase by 1.5 times.
If fire detectors cannot be installed on the ceiling,
fire detectors shall be installed on the wall at a distance not exceeding 300 mm from the ceiling,
including the dimensions of the detector. Installation of fire detectors should be performed in
in accordance with the requirements of the technical documentation for this detector.
In places where there is a risk of mechanical damage to the detector, it must be
a protective structure is provided that does not disturb its operability and
efficiency of fire detection.
In case of installation of different types of fire detectors in one control area, their
placement is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the standards for each type of detector.
Manual fire detectors shall be installed on walls and structures at height
1.5 m from ground level or floor. Manual fire detectors shall be installed
at a distance of:
not more than 50 m apart from each other inside buildings;
not more than 150 m from each other outside the buildings;
not less than 0.75m before the detector there shall be no different controls and objects,
preventing access to the detector. Illumination at manual installation site
fire detector must be at least 50 lux.
Alerting system
Based on item 15, Table 2 of NPB 10403, a warning and control system is provided
evacuation of people in case of fire of type 2. In accordance with Table 1 of NPB 10403 by design
provision is made for the installation of sounders (siren), light annunciators
"Exit." Lighting and management of evacuation of people in case of fire
is performed by the supply of sound and light signals in the premises of the building with permanent
or temporary stay of people, alerts:
- combined alert "Mayak12KP";
- sound annunciator "Oriole";
- "Output" annunciator;
The placement of sound alerts provides a total sound level of at least 75 dBA per
3 m from the alert, but not more than 120 dBA at any point protected
rooms. To ensure clear audibility, EMSS audio signals provide
sound level is not less than 15 dBA higher than permissible sound level of constant noise in
protected room.
Electrodistributing
Connection of fire alarm loops with smoke and manual

Power supply of the unit
Fire alarm system by power supply reliability level
must have category I power supply according to PUE. System power supply
fire alarm from existing switchboard
voltage 220V 50Hz. For power supply of instruments and fire detectors
12V " Scat1200" redundant power supply with 7A/h battery is used.
Backup power supply provides uninterrupted operation of fire fighting devices
signalling at loss of main power supply in standby mode for not less than 24h
for PS subsystem The design provides for automatic switching of power supply
from primary source to standby source. Grounding of equipment and devices shall be
shall be performed in accordance with the requirements of the technical documentation of the manufacturers.
Equipment placement and connection
Arrangement of instruments and equipment shall be specified during erection
works. Structural diagram of fire alarm system, location plans
equipment and detectors, connection diagrams, equipment installation sketches
are given in the project. Wires and cables shall be laid according to
PUE, NPB 8801, RD 78.14593.
Signaling loops circuits shall be made by 2x0.5 KSPV wire; KSPV 4x0.5 ;
Circuits of warning lines shall be made by 2x0.5 KSPV wire;

Organization of installation works
Installation of cable network and fire alarm equipment is recommended

Installation is recommended in the following sequence:
- preparatory works;
- laying and drawing of cables and wires;
- installation of devices and detectors.
Preparatory work includes:
- preparation of materials and workplaces;

Commissioning requirements.
Commissioning works shall be performed by the installation and installation organization in
in accordance with the requirements of RD 78.14593 and with mandatory Appendix 1 to SNiP 3.05.05-
84, SNiP 3.05.0685 and SNiP 3.05.0785.
Prior to commencement of commissioning during erection works shall be
individual tests (adjustment, adjustment of corresponding parts
installations, detectors, control and receiving devices, etc.) in accordance with
technical descriptions, instructions, PUE.
Commissioning shall be performed in the following sequence:
- performance of preparatory works;
- commissioning works;
- individual tests;
- complex equipment adjustment.
Commissioning is considered to be completed after receipt of the envisaged
design and technical documentation of parameters and modes providing
stable and stable operation of signalling equipment.
Occupational Safety and Fire Safety Requirements
Installation works should be started only after execution
