Additional information
5.1 Features of engineering geological conditions in Perm.
Building foundations - building structures located in the soil thickness, protected from direct atmospheric and other environmental influences. When designing buildings and structures, foundations should be given increased attention.
The most difficult problems that arise during the new construction and reconstruction of buildings in the historically established districts of Perm are the construction of foundations, especially in conditions of dense development, as well as the strengthening of foundations and foundations.
With a wide variety of engineering and geological conditions of construction sites in Perm, in many cases the construction of new buildings on sites with dense development leads to deformations and sometimes destruction near existing buildings.
Annex I indicates the types of soils present in Perm and Perm Oblast (Fig. 2) and the hazardous geological processes possible in Perm (Fig. 1).
In order to ensure the safety and possible normal operation of facilities located in the zone of influence of new construction, it is necessary, in addition to making reliable design decisions, to provide for the implementation of special technological measures .
The implementation of these measures does not exclude the possibility of damage to the structural elements of existing buildings, and therefore additional work may be required, including the cost of these works according to the actual volumes in the estimates for the construction of a new or reconstructed building.
Characteristics of the area and construction site.
The land plot for the construction of a five-story administrative extension is located in quarter No. 93 of the Leninsky district of Perm at the intersection of Lenin and Popov streets, within the red lines.
Parcel Size:
• 5630.073 sq.m. (in accordance with the Decree of the Head of the City No. 2049 dated 21.11.1997 for the regional communications hub and garages);
• 2287.97m2. (In accordance with the Decree of the Head of the City No. 2314 of 29.08.2002 for an administrative building on 68 Lenin St.).
The construction area, according to SNiP 230199 "Construction climatology," belongs to the I climatic area (subdistrict B).
The climate of the region is continental, moderately cold. Atlantic air masses play a major role in climate formation. In winter, they cause relatively warm snow weather, and in summer - cool and rainy. Of considerable importance are the periodic invasions of cold dry Arctic air, which in spring and autumn are accompanied by frosts, and in winter - severe frosts.
Design temperature of external tn air =35o Page.
The weight of the snow cover is 320 kG/m2.
The standard freezing depth is 1,9 m.
The site allocated for construction is limited from the north, west and south by the administrative and production buildings of Uralsvyazinform OJSC, and from the east by Popov Street. The plot is free from development and is located within the boundaries of land removal for the building
OJSC Uralsvyazinform. The relief of the site is planned, there is improvement, including pavements with asphalt pavement, and there is also a pronounced slope in the northern direction - towards Lenin Street.
Transport accessibility is provided by roads along the streets of Lenin, Popov, Kirov, local entrances and sidewalks.
Elevations range from 113.40 to 113.70 in the altitude system of the city of Perm.
Within the boundaries of land plots there are networks of engineering infrastructure - storm sewage, heat supply, sewage, electric cables, low-current networks, water supply, outdoor lighting networks, structures of traction substation No. 5202.
Adjacent plots are land provided by MP Gorelektrotransport for the building of an electric substation; land provided to the Office of State Supervision of Communications in the Perm Region for 2 Autobox; land provided by Uralsvyazinform OJSC under TP 5202; urban and public land
Geotechnical conditions.
Quaternary alluvial sandy-clay deposits with a thickness of 4.85.8 m, covered by bulk soils, take part in the geological structure of the site.
Native rocks are represented by argillites lying at a depth of 6.5 and 7.5 m from the surface of the earth.
Groundwater is found at a depth of 2.2-4.0 m. According to the zoning scheme of Perm according to the degree of flooding, the survey site belongs to flooded territories with a groundwater level of 0-2.0m.
Underground waters have weak sulfate and low carbon dioxide aggressiveness to concrete of normal permeability and are not aggressive to reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures during periodic wetting.
Engineering communications are removed from under the patch of development.
Architectural and planning solutions.
The development of the quarter, on the territory of which the designed building is located, was formed in the early 70s during the reconstruction of the city center. Here is the complex of buildings of Uralsvyazinform OJSC, which was commissioned in the early 70s and consists of 2 buildings: 6 storeys administrative, located on the street. Lenin, and 4 storeys production, located along the street. Popova. The hulls are united by a staircase lift unit.
In 2002, the 1st floor of the administrative building was significantly expanded by an extension for the dining room for 150 seats. At the same time, the administrative part of the 1st floor of the building was redeveloped and reconstructed.
The designed 5-storey building of the administrative extension completes the spatial and compositional combination of the buildings of Uralsvyazinform OJSC from ul. Popova. the building was decided as an extension located on the street. Popova in a niche formed by the buildings of the complex. At the same time, the urban planning situation of the adjacent territory will practically not change.
From the side of the economic entrance from the street. Kirov to the territory of the farm. The courtyard of Uralsvyazinform OJSC is being designed, a 2-story extension to the existing PBX building. In the designed annex, the central security point is supposed to be located.
So in the immediate vicinity of the designed building there are two parking lots with asphalt concrete pavement, having decorative fencing and artificial lighting.
There is also an established system of transport entrances and pedestrian sidewalks with asphalt concrete pavement.
Territory engineering training.
The relief organization plan was carried out on the basis of a breakdown plan and a topographic survey carried out in January 2002 by Gradient LLC. The survey scale is 1:500.
The project does not foresee a significant change in the existing planning elevations in the adjacent area.
The vertical layout of the site is connected with the layout of the attached dining room of Uralsvyazinform OJSC and has access to existing elevations along the boundaries of the site.
The vertical layout in the area of the expandable part of the TP is linked to the existing elevations of the adjacent territory.
Surface water supply is carried out along a planned surface to the rain sewer system of the roadway st. Lenin.
Technical survey of the facility.
The surveyed buildings, to which the construction of a 5-story annex is planned, are located on Popov, 17 and Lenin streets, 68 and built in the 1960s. There is a transition between the two buildings. On Lenin Street, the e building is administrative, on Popova Street - production.
Buildings on Lenin and Popov Streets - frame, enclosing structures are adopted from panels made of cellular concrete according to the ST0231 series.
The building frame has:
Columns by AI-22-1 series
Rigel by AI-23-1 series
VII-24-1 series slabs
Stairs on the AI-65 series
Foundation beams on KE0123 series of the issue 1
Foundations - piles.
The facade of the building on Lenin Street is finished with reinforced concrete vertical pylons.
As a result of visual examination of bearing structures and analysis of previously performed examination, it was revealed that their condition is operable and suitable for further accident-free operation.
Precipitation of buildings is uniform. Partially the partitions of the first floor of the building along 17 Popova Street have cracks. This situation is explained in fact by the lack of foundations under the partitions. None of the load-bearing structures shows defects and damages indicating a decrease in their load-bearing capacity.
Conclusions and recommendations.
The construction of a 5-storey extension to existing buildings on Popova Street, 17 and Lenin, 68 is possible under the following conditions:
• The annex building shall be made on a separate foundation, at the same time the project shall exclude the influence of the designed foundations on the existing ones, thereby maintaining the existing level of loads on the existing foundations;
• At the points of connection of the designed walls with existing sedimentary seams;
• The working project of the extension shall be performed by the licensed design organization.
