Introduction

Ventilation is an organized air exchange in the premises related to the stay of people, the storage of materials and products.

Ventilation systems are designed to provide microclimate parameters for heat exchange of human body with environment.

With the help of ventilation systems in the premises of buildings and structures, meteorological conditions and air cleanliness established by sanitary and technological standards are maintained, providing increased productivity and creative activity of workers, in addition, in some cases ventilation is an integral part of technological processes.

Depending on the methods that cause air movement, the ventilation system is divided into: natural and artificial (mechanical).

During mechanical ventilation, the air is moved by fans with electric drives.

Natural and artificial ventilation can be exhaust, plenum and plenum ventilation. Using exhaust ventilation, contaminated, gas-laden air with excessive heat and moisture is removed from the premises and released into the atmosphere. Instead of remote air, air is supplied, taking it from the outside, this is plenum ventilation. Plenum ventilation provides both the supply of air and its organized removal.

Depending on the way the air exchange is organized, the ventilation can be general and local.

The general exchange ventilation is designed to remove emitted harmful substances, dust and gases, if they spread throughout the room and it is not possible to catch them in places of release.

General exchange ventilation, as a rule, is influential and can be both natural and artificial.

Indoor microclimate systems and equipment

2.1. Process Brief

The course project for library ventilation provides for general supply and supply ventilation with natural and artificial (mechanical) motive.

To accommodate the equipment of the plenum plant in the basement of the library, a room of the ventilation chamber has been designed, where it is planned to place the air intake chamber. Air intake for the plenum plant is carried out through an external air intake grille installed in a brick wall.

Outside air heating for the plenum ventilation system is provided in the heater.

The exhaust fan is installed in the attic of the building. Exhaust air emission from exhaust ventilation systems under natural and mechanical pressure is provided at a height of at least 1.0 m from the roof coating level.

Rectangular air ducts are used to supply and remove air through rooms by mechanically induced systems. Air ducts of general ventilation systems are provided from non-combustible materials - from thin-sheet steel with a thickness of at least 0.8 mm. Transit ducts are laid under the ceiling of the corridors of the first and second floors.

Supply air is supplied directly to the library premises. Air removal is designed naturally through ventilation brick channels from the premises.

In the rooms of the bathrooms (rooms with a wet microclimate), mechanical exhaust ventilation systems are provided. Air removal is assumed through brick ventilation ducts.

In this building, general ventilation systems have been designed to provide and maintain microclimate in the library premises.

2.3. Design and calculation of ventilation systems

Mechanical (and natural) ventilation is designed in the library building. Air exchange in rooms is accepted by multiplicities, depending on the purpose of the room. Multiplications were adopted in accordance with the manual on the design of cultural institutions.

Drawing is carried out from the upper zone through grilles of RSG type.

Plenum air in the volume of 5115 m3 is supplied by plenum unit P2 to the upper area of the room by grilles of RSG and STD type and in the volume of 2246 m3 is supplied by plenum unit P1 to the upper area of the design room by grilles of RSV type. Plenum air in the cold season is heated in the heater to + 13.08 ° С.

2.7. Selection of ventilation equipment

Calculation of plenum unit P1:

The total capacity of the plenum plant is 2246 m3/h.

According to the manufacturer's catalog, we select the plenum unit P1 KTSKP3.15 of Veza:

Rated capacity: 3150 m3/h;

Size: 3325x610x610

Type: floor plenum installation.

Calculation of plenum unit P2:

The total capacity of the plenum plant is 5115 m3/h.

According to the manufacturer's catalog, we select the plenum unit P2 KTSKP5 of the company "Veza":

Rated capacity: 5000 m3/h;

Size: 3575x915x610

Type: floor plenum installation.
