Description
To transfer forces from the wing panel, which operates on normal and shear stresses from bending, shear and torsion, to the center section , a flange (contour) joint is used, carried out with the help of a butt fitting made of a pressed profile (alloy B95). Usually, these fittings are made in one piece with the side rib belt. For the top panel, butt bolts are inserted into the fittings through vertical slots; For tightening the bolted connection, cutouts (sockets) are provided for the size of the wrench. Bolt loss during shaking and loosening is prevented by washers "recessed" into the body of the eyelet.
