Description

XOS processes implemented on multi-position stamping machines, as well as on stamping machines, provide an increase in productivity of 5-10 times or more compared to modern machines for cutting equivalent parts.

Parts produced by CVD are characterized by the presence of deformation hardening, the absence of incisions, the directivity of fibers along the configuration of the stamped blank. Surface microgeometry is better than cutting, casting, or hot stamping. The metal utilization rate is more than 30% higher than the above processing methods and averages 0.90-0.93. XOS processes implemented on multi-position stamping machines, as well as on stamping machines, provide an increase in productivity of 510 times or more compared to modern machines for cutting equivalent parts.

The prospect of expanding the range of products produced by HOSH is due to an improvement in the operational qualities of the parts, a complication of their shape, an increase in the mass and size of the stamped parts. A significant reserve for the technology of manufacturing complex-shaped parts is the combination of cold bulk stamping with other types of cold deformation: rolling, stamping with a swinging and rotating tool, drawing with thinning of the wall, etc.

The task of the technologist and designer is to choose the optimal technology, tool design, equipment parameters. In solving these issues, it is advisable to proceed from the classification of cold stamping operations and parts obtained by HOSH.

In XOS, it is desirable to use a material with the necessary ductility resource and minimal deformation resistance, but it must also provide operational requirements for the part: strength, surface quality, physical, mechanical properties, etc. Changes in material properties in the process of deformed hardening make it necessary either to replace the material, or to deform it in several transitions with intermediate heat treatment, or to refuse cold deformation. Recommendations on the evaluation of the application area of cold and semi-hot three-dimensional stamping of blanks are accepted according to the tables. The change in properties of alloys can be evaluated by hardening curves constructed based on the results of mechanical tests.

Surface roughness of stamped workpieces and their quality depend on the design and quality of the tool, its material, quality and method of preparation of the workpiece surface for stamping. If additional operations cannot be avoided for the obtained surfaces, then the structures of the parts of the stamped workpiece must meet the requirements of further processing technology, mechanization and automation of finishing operations.

The accuracy of the dimensions of the stamped blanks depends on the accuracy of the production of the working parts of the tool, elastic, elastoplastic, temperature deformations, wear. Deviations of height dimensions during settlement, landing, bottom thickness in the blind cavity, etc., are determined by the rigidity of the machine system (press) - die - intermediate layer - workpiece.

Analyzing a Part Drawing, Selecting a Shaping Scheme

This part is a ring. This type of part can be obtained by direct extrusion. The material of this part is Steel 20, I do not recommend replacement.

Forging Drawing Development

The forging drawing is developed on the basis of the part drawing, we assign allowances to the dimensions of the part that serve for subsequent machining, ensuring the accuracy of the dimensions and the quality of the surface of the part. See Appendix 2 for the forging drawing.

Grease Selection

Lubrication reduces deformation, improves the quality of the part, increases the resistance of the tool. For steel, it is customary to use phosphotation with subsequent application of liquid lubricant.

Tool Design

The replaceable tool kit is presented in Annex 3. consists of: a punch installed in the punch holder, a cavity, the finished forging is pushed out by the ejector to its entire height and then removed manually. The hay tool set is installed on the universal unit.
