Design of the electrical network for Microdistrict 3, Nizhnevartovsk

Description

This thesis examines the power supply system design for Microdistrict No. 3 in the city of Nizhnevartovsk. The project was developed in compliance with the following requirements: PUE (6th and 7th editions), PTE, STO 70238424.29.240.20.001-2011 ("Standards for the Technological Design of AC Substations with High Voltages of 35–750 kV"), and other regulatory documents.

 

Electrical loads for 2022 were calculated and analyzed. Power transformer and auxiliary transformer ratings were selected, and the substation's electrical connection diagram was developed.

 

The required number of transformer substations was determined and justified, and the transformer ratings for these substations were established.

 

Taking into account the power supply characteristics of existing 10 kV distribution networks, an optimal 10 kV scheme was selected for the microdistrict's power supply. Conductor types and cross-sections, as well as switching equipment, were selected for the proposed 10 kV overhead line.

 

Calculations were performed for the 10 kV overhead line regarding voltage drop, short-circuit currents, and mechanical parameters.

 

An optimal electrical network configuration was selected, and a power supply scheme for 0.4 kV consumers fed by the proposed transformer substations was developed. Voltage drop calculations were performed for each 0.4 kV feeder, and the optimal conductor cross-section was selected based on electrical load requirements.
