Introduction
The purpose of the course project is to form practical skills for designing technological systems and processes, developing models of procurement processes in mechanical engineering.
Forging of various shapes and sizes from steel, non-ferrous metals and alloys on hammers, presses and other machines is made by hot stamping. At volumetric stamping on hammers open dies are used, in which along the perimeter of the main stream of the die there is an area groove. The starting material for bulk forging is mainly bar metal, mainly of circular cross-section, cut into blanks. Before deformation, the metal blank is heated in special heating devices. Development of the process of forging by hot stamping includes the following tasks:
1. Develop a forging drawing.
2. Design of die finish stream.
3. Determination of metal deformation forces and selection of punching hammer power.
4. Defines the profile and dimensions of the original workpiece.
5. Construction of a hammer die.
The initial data for developing a forged forging drawing are:
- part drawing with specification and indication of initial (draft) bases of machining;
- a forging release program, which determines the selection of the forging method and the accuracy class of forging.
Conclusion
During the course work, the following tasks were solved:
- defined material group, accuracy class, degree of complexity and initial index of forging for drawing development;
- weight of forging is calculated;
- allowance, allowance and permissible limit deviations of dimensions are defined;
- forging drawing developed;
- design of die finishing stream is performed;
- calculation of the shroud groove is performed;
- the metal deformation force is determined and the punching hammer power is selected;
- the profile and dimensions of the original workpiece have been determined;
- Molotov die is designed and its drawing is developed.
