The designed control fixture uses centers to secure the part. In this regard, the following basing scheme takes place (Figure 14.1).

14.4 Description of the designed accessory operation

On the cast base 11, which has guides in the upper part, there are installed two heads 1, 2 with centers and a movable carriage 21 with a post 18, to which IS 30 is attached. For presetting, the headstocks can be moved along the base guides and locked in position by means of a handle 12, an eccentric portion of the roller 6, a bolt and a nut 27 and 28. The fixed center 22 of the headstock is located in the pinoli and can be adjusted by means of a screw. The movable centre 23 of the tailstock 2 is capable of reciprocating longitudinally to install and remove the controlled part by means of a handle 13 which is fixed to the eccentric 24. When turning the eccentric handle clockwise (down) relative to axis 15, the center will go to the right and release the part, while the spring 29 located in the cover 10 and attached by screws 25 to the rear head is compressed. By turning the handle 13 upwards, the shaft is clamped in the centers. Attachment of IS 30 on the rack - using screw 26. The IS post is movable in the slot of the carriage 21 and is fixed in it by two nuts: upper - 27 and lower - 28.
