1. Introduction
The implementation of the course project on "Machine Parts" completes the general technical cycle of student training. This is the first independent work in which knowledge from a number of disciplines passed is actively used: mechanics, material resistance, interchangeability and others. The object of this creative engineering work is the drive of the chain conveyor mechanism, which consists of a series 4A electric motor, a belt transmission, a chain transmission, a conical reduction gear, which is installed on a welded frame. When designing the drive, there are no deviations from the kinematic circuit. During the work, the information about most parts and units of the general machine-building application is familiarized and assimilated. When performing a course project, the student becomes involved in engineering, learning from previous experience, learns to anticipate new ideas in creating machines - reliable and durable, economical to manufacture and operate, convenient and safe to maintain!
