Metal cutting machines are the main type of factory equipment intended for the production of modern machines, instruments, tools and other products, therefore the number and quality of metal cutting machines, their technical equipment to a large extent characterizes the production power of the country.
The development of computer technology made it possible to create high-performance metal cutting machines with software control, including with automatic tool change.
Currently, Russian machine tool builders create complex and unique machines equipped with modern equipment.
The course project is one of the last stages of the engineer training, which allows you to show the total amount of knowledge gained during the training process, the ability to apply this knowledge, as well as in your practical experience to solve engineering issues.
The purpose of the course project is to learn a practical solution to the application of previously obtained knowledge to solving a specific problem.
The topic of the course design is the design and full calculation of the given assembly of the metal cutting machine.
Description of machine operating principle
Purpose of the machine. The machine is designed for turning parts from various materials with both quick-cutting and hard-alloy tools in conditions of large-scale and mass production.
The main movement is the rotation of the spindle with the workpiece.
Auxiliary Motion - Moves a table with a tool.
