Description

Crushing rollers are designed for fine grinding of worn-out car tires and wastes of rubber products production in regenerate production. The base of the rolls is a massive foundation slab 1, on which the parts of the bed 2 are embedded. In the bed there are powerful bearings, in which rolls 7 and 8 rotate. To increase strength and rigidity of the bed, crossarms 4 are installed on its right and left parts. The rear roll is driven by a reduction gear 15 from the drive gear 11. Front roll turns from pair of friction gears 5. Clearance between rolls is controlled by displacement of front roll by screws, amount of displacement is fixed by means of dividing disks. Devices for adjusting the gap 3 are located on the side of the roller station. In order that the pieces of tyres and rubberized cloth during grinding do not go beyond the boundaries of the rollers and do not clog the bearings, limiting booms, which are metal shields, are installed on the rollers, which are carefully fitted to the surface of the rollers by the lower part. Booms are attached to bearing units of rolls. Rollers belong to high-risk machines, since their working elements (rolls) are open. A special system is provided for emergency shutdown of the machine. When the balancer is pressed, the switches in the box are switched on, which turn off the engine 14 and actuate the brake 12. Drive and friction gears on rollers are closed with metal casings. The cooling system of the rolls 6 is composed of pipelines for supplying cooling water to the rolls and discharging the cooling water.
