The relevance of developing a device for monitoring the diameters of cylindrical workpieces is due to the need to enhance measurement accuracy in the context of modern manufacturing processes. The constant increase in quality requirements and the reduction of allowable defect levels necessitate the implementation of automated control systems that ensure high precision and reliability of measurements. Moreover, due to sanctions, many domestic enterprises have found foreign automation devices to be unavailable. In this context, the creation of a compact, cost-effective device allows for increased competitiveness of enterprises, optimization of costs, and minimization of the human factor's influence on the control process.
