Introduction

Water supply - supply of surface or underground water to consumers in the required quantity and in accordance with the target indicators of water quality in water bodies [1]. Engineering facilities designed to solve water supply problems are called a water supply system,

or water supply.

The purpose of the course work is the design of water supply and sanitation systems for a residential building.

The task is to consolidate theoretical knowledge and apply it at the design stage:

study of terminology, basic concepts, methods of hydraulic calculation of structures used in water supply and wastewater disposal of buildings;

study of the regulatory, technical and organizational framework for ensuring uninterrupted water supply and disposal;

Acquisition of skills in the design, construction and operation of water supply and wastewater disposal facilities.

Water supply

Hydraulic calculation of internal v.

Hydraulic calculation of the internal water supply network is necessary to determine the diameters of the pipes, the head loss in them and the required head to ensure uninterrupted water supply to all consumers in the building.

The system is calculated in the following order:

Constructs an axonometric diagram of the internal water supply of the building from the input to the dictating point of the calculated dictating riser - the most remote and loaded.

Identification of design direction of water supply.

Split the design direction into design sections and specify the node points (water flow change points), the length of the design sections. The design area is a section with a constant flow rate. The start and end of the calculated sections are indicated by numbers.

Determination of maximum second water flow rates by design areas.

Selection of pipeline diameter by design flow rate taking into account recommended speeds.

Determination of linear head losses in the network by sections.

Determination of total head losses from the entry into the building to the highest water separation point of the dictating riser and calculation of the required head.

Comparison of the required head with the pressure in the external network and determination of the need to install booster pumps.

Sewerage

In residential and public buildings, an economic drainage system and internal drains are installed. Open or hidden piping method. Toilets, washes, baths, washbasins are installed in residential buildings. Waste water removal is provided by gravity pipelines, the material of the pipes is selected depending on the composition and temperature of the waste water, the requirements and strength of the pipeline and metal savings.

Risers receive waste water from branch lines from all floors. They are installed at the locations of the wastewater receptacles and as close as possible to the instrument discharging the most contaminated wastewater. The diameter of the riser in residential buildings along the entire height shall not be less than the largest diameter of the branch pipe connected to the riser. Sewage outlets remove waste liquid from the risers outside the building into the inspection well of the courtyard or intra-quarter network. The outlet diameter shall not be less than the riser diameter, and the angle of connection to the yard sewer network shall not be less than 900.
