Description
In this course project, the Pinsk water supply network was designed. The city is located in the Brest region. The population of the city is 146,378 people, the density is 320 people/ha. In this village there are three large industrial enterprises. The development of the city is three- and five-story. In the storey buildings there is an internal water supply, sewerage and gas supply, without baths and showers .
The project included calculations of water consumption for household and drinking and production needs, taking into account the unevenness of water consumption throughout the year, day, hours, as well as calculation of consumption for watering the territory .
According to the compiled table of distribution of water consumption of the settlement by hours of day, the value of the highest hour water consumption was found, which is observed from 19 to 20 hours and is equal to Qmax.h = 2224, 96m3/h.
During the hydraulic calculation of the network, economically viable pipe diameters and head losses in the pipeline were determined. Plastic pipes (polyethylene pipes, GOST 18599-2001) are adopted in this course design.
For storage of regulating and fire water reserves and for creation of free head in dictating point, a concrete water tower with reinforced concrete tank with volume W = 600 m3. Tank diameter d = 10.5 m, height h = 7 m. Height of water tower trunk Nb = 31 m.
Also, two tanks of clean water of rectangular shape from precast reinforced concrete with volume W = 3800 m3 are designed for storage of regulating, inviolable fire-fighting reserves and water consumption for own needs of water treatment plant.
Piezometric lines were built after determining the free pressures at the node points at maximum water consumption and in case of fire.
