Selecting Fits for Inner Bearing Ring
Internal bearing ring tolerance field is selected as per GOST 52071. Since in the reduction gear the inner rings of bearings of all shafts are rotated and the outer rings are in place, local loading takes place, therefore we will have transitional fits .
For the inner bearing ring of the high-speed shaft, we take the size. For the outer bearing ring of the high-speed shaft, which is mounted in the gearbox housing, we take the size:.
For inner ring of low-speed shaft bearing we take size. For the outer ring of the low-speed shaft bearing, which is mounted in the gearbox housing, we take the size:.
For the inner bearing ring of the intermediate shaft we take the size. For the outer bearing ring of the intermediate shaft, which is mounted in the gearbox housing, take the size:.
Coupling selection
Free-running clutches, or overtaking clutches, transmit torque in only one direction. The most widespread in mechanical engineering were roller couplings. The inner part of such a coupling is called an asterisk, and the outer part is called a cage. Both can be part of the coupling. For proper operation of the coupling, it is important that the clip be concentric with the asterisk. For this purpose holder with part installed on it is based on shaft or on other parts on the same shaft. When designing special couplings, you can embed rolling bearings in the race and in the sprocket.
