Description

Having considered the main types of steering amplifiers (hydraulic, electrohydraulic and electric), I consider it most profitable to install an electrohydraulic steering amplifier on the Mitsubishi L200. Electro-hydraulic power steering consists of pump unit, hydraulic control unit and control system (Figure 2.1). Pump unit represents combined unit including hydraulic pump, pump motor and working fluid tank. Electronic control unit is installed on pump unit. The hydraulic pump may be of the vane or gear type. The most simple and reliable is the gear pump. Hydraulic control unit is actuator of rudder amplifier. It includes torsion bar with rotary slide valve and distributing sleeve and power cylinder with piston. Figure 2.1-EGUR diagram. Hydraulic control unit is integrated with steering gear. Power cylinder piston rod is an extension of steering gear rack. Control system provides operation of amplifier. Modern cars use an electronic control system that provides control of the gain depending on the speed of rotation of the steering wheel and the speed of movement of the car. An amplifier with such characteristics is called an adaptive steering amplifier. On the cars of the Volkswagen and BMW concern, the electronic control system of the hydraulic power steering has the trade name Servotronic. Servotronic system includes input sensors, electronic control unit and actuating device. The input sensors of the system are the steering amplifier sensor (steering wheel angle sensor - on cars equipped with ESP), the speedometer sensor. In addition to the sensors, the system uses engine crankshaft speed information from the engine control system. Electronic control unit of rudder amplifier receives and processes signals of sensors and acts on actuating device in accordance with established program. The following actuators are used in various versions of the Servotronic system: pump motor, solenoid valve in the hydraulic system. In the first case, change of hydraulic booster capacity is performed due to change of motor rotation speed. Secondly, due to change of flow section of hydraulic system (opening-closing of valve). Electrohydraulic amplifiers combined the advantages of hydraulic and electric amplifiers: a) accuracy, informativity and efficiency; b) at high speeds, the electronic sensor system gradually reduces the level of control gain; c) absence of machine component with belt drive; d) compactness; e) fuel efficiency (up to 1 l per 100 km). Therefore, it is advisable to replace GRM with EGMD

Paper

The course design contains 3 sheets of drawings of A1 format, 2 sheets of A3 format and 1 sheet of A2 format, a calculation explanatory note for 36 s, including 16 Fig., 8 literary sources.

The purpose of the work is to design steering with an electro-hydraulic amplifier for the Mitsubishi L200 car.

Main technical characteristics of steering:

a) efficiency of action (gain) ky = 10.3;

b) sensitivity index P0 = 25 N

c) indicator of the effect of the amplifier on the steering wheel A = 0.0318

Drive efficiency: electro-hydraulic steering systems with an amplifier, sometimes called "hybrid" systems, use the same auxiliary hydraulic technology as in the standard system, but the hydraulic pressure in them is provided by a pump that is driven by an electric motor, instead of a belt drive from the engine. The main steering elements include an EGUR unit which includes an electric motor, a control unit, a pump and a working fluid tank.

Introduction

Mitsubishi L200 is a two-door pick-up of a compact segment, which combines attractive design, good technical performance and excellent off-road potential.

Its main target audience is men with a good income, who prefer outdoor activities and off-road trips. The fourth generation of the Japanese truck made its debut in December 2005 at the Bologna International Auto Show, and its sales in leading world markets started in early 2006. In February 2014, the car appeared before the world public in an updated guise - he was slightly "refreshed" in appearance, made small changes to the cabin and added a new 132-strong gasoline engine.

On the conveyor, the pickup lasted until 2015, when it was replaced by the model of the next, fifth generation. Externally, the "fourth" Mitsubishi L200 makes an extremely positive impression - it looks attractive, harmonious and quite solid.

In front, the car displays a strict look of lighting equipment, a stylish radiator grille and a massive bumper, and in profile it boasts dynamic outlines and the original shape of the passenger cabin, with which the onboard platform is connected.

From the stern, the "truck" does not stand out as anything special - vertically oriented lights, a characteristic side and a compact bumper. The overall length of Mitsubishi L200 is 5000 mm, the width fits into the frames of 1750 mm for "junior" and 1800 mm for "senior" versions, and the height is 1775 or 1780 mm depending on the type of configuration. The wheelbase of the pickup is 3000 mm, and its ground clearance (clearance) is 200 mm. The equipped weight of the car varies from 1910 to 1960 kg.

The interior of the fourth-generation Mitsubishi L200 looks utilitarian and does not claim luxury - a three-spoke cartoon, concise "instrumentation" with a silver framing of devices, an attractive central console with a 7-inch display of a multimedia complex, three washers "microclimate" and a magnetol. In addition, inexpensive finishing materials (mostly rigid plastics) prevail inside the machine, although the quality of the assembly is at a high level.

The cabin of a compact "truck" is designed to accommodate five people. In front, the car is equipped with quite comfortable seats with a well-developed profile, optimal packing density and wide adjustment intervals.

The standard "fourth" Mitsubishi L200 is equipped with a cargo compartment, the length of which is 1605 mm, the width is 1470 mm, the height of the sides is 460 mm. In the body, the car is able to carry up to 990 kg of luggage, while towing trailers with a total weight of up to 2700 kg .

For the Mitsubishi L200, two more diesel four-cylinder engines with a displacement of 2.5 liters with an in-line configuration, turbocharged, Common Rail battery "power" system, 16-valve DOHC-type GPM and intermediate supercharging air cooling: the "junior" version generates 136 horsepower at 3500 rpm and 314 N; the potential of the "senior" reaches 178 hp at 4000 rpm and 350 Nm available traction at 18003500 rpm .

The base engine is mounted with a 5-speed "mechanics" or a 4-range "automatic," and its more productive "assembled" - with a 5-speed automatic transmission. The pickup can boast a Super Select 4WD all-wheel drive system with a symmetrical axle differential, which is capable of operating in four modes. There are also rear-wheel drive versions. With the "driving" characteristics of the fourth generation Mitsubishi L200, it is not bad: from the place to 100 km/h it accelerates after 12.117.8 seconds, accelerates to 166175 km/h as much as possible, and "digests" 7.9-8.9 liters of fuel in combined conditions for each "hundred."

The car can overcome fords up to 500 mm deep, and its angles of entry and exit are 30 and 22 degrees, respectively. Pride "L200" is a pickup chassis built on the basis of a reinforced frame structure with powerful transverse beams, which adds the necessary strength and rigidity to overcome high loads while driving off-road.

The front of the Mitsubishi L200 is supported by an independent spring suspension with double transverse levers and a stabilizer. At the back, the developers' preference is given to a reliable design with a continuous axis on leaf springs. On the wheels of the front axle, the Japanese install 16-inch ventilated disc brakes, and on the rear wheels use 11.6-inch drum brakes with a pressure regulator. Rack steering mechanism of pickup truck is supplemented with hydraulic booster. In the secondary market of Russia, the "fourth" Mitsubishi L200 in 2017 can be bought at a price of ~ 400 thousand rubles. In the simplest configuration, the pickup truck is equipped with: two airbags, steering power, ABS, climatic installation, on-board computer, 16-inch alloy wheels, electric windows of all doors, heated front seats, fog lamps, mirrors with heating and electrical adjustments, standard audio system and other modern equipment.

Conclusion

In this course project on the topic "Development of steering with an electro-hydraulic amplifier for the Mitsubishi L200 car," the design of steering of the Mitsubishi L200 car was considered. An analysis was made of the advantages and disadvantages of various types of steering amplifiers. Calculation of hydraulic pump parameters and other steering elements is given.

Thus, in the course design, it was found that the electro-hydraulic steering amplifier has a number of advantages over the hydraulic amplifier.
