Introduction

Prefabricated tools occupy an important place in metal cutting. They cover a rather wide nomenclature, but the main types are cutters, zenkers, forks, turning cutters. From the point of view of the requirements for fastening methods and structures, these tools have much in common.

Prefabricated tools have a number of advantages over monolithic ones. They allow changing each of the plates separately in case of its unsuitability for further work. The tool body can be used to repeatedly replace all worn-out plates with a set of new ones. This ensures faster replacement speed and easy adjustment.

Also, from the point of view of economy, composite tools benefit whole ones, since expensive material is spent only on the manufacture of plates.

Conclusion

As a result of the performed work, the cutting tool was selected for the performance of operation 050, namely, the holder, the SMP and the type of attachment were selected. The clamping force of the hard alloy plate was calculated.
