Description

This extractor consists of a screw which is screwed into a cross-piece, on the ends of which two gripping tabs are hinged by rivets. Upper ends of tabs are pressed against conical surface of taper which is installed on thread of extractor screw. To reduce friction between legs and cone, rollers are freely installed on rivets on upper end of varnish, which rotate when the cone is screwed in along the screw. Handle is installed on top of screw in its hole. Stop is installed on lower end of screw by means of setting screw. When using the extractor, the following actions are performed: - turn the handle to set the screw to the upper position; - position the extractor above the tip; - use the cone to install the gripping tabs on the tip, achieving tight adjoining the upper ends of the tabs to the cone; - turn the screw into the cross-bar, press the stop to the upper end of the battery output; - continue screwing the screw into the cross-bar to remove the tip of the starter wire from the battery outlet.
